I’ve made the mistake of stopping by Miller a few times now, and honestly, every single time I eat anything from there, it’s like my body just goes into full revolt. I can’t sleep, I get incredibly irritable, and I feel this weird, unnatural jitteriness that just won't quit. To make matters worse, the entire apartment ends up smelling like whatever they're baking in there. It makes me wonder what on earth they’re actually putting into their dough—it feels like they’re dumping MSG into everything; you can practically sense it from a mile away, along with that greasy, oily texture that feels less like food and more like literal liquid plastic. I don't even eat meat or buy anything with meat products, but man, I can only imagine the absolute disaster it would be if I actually tried some of their meat pies. I’ve been tossing and turning all night, dealing with terrible stomach issues because of those pastries. This is the third time I've had this exact same reaction, and while I wasn't quite sure what was causing it at first, I've finally connected the dots. So, here I am at 7:30 in the morning, finally feeling somewhat human again after eating their stuff around 8:00 PM last night.

Just don't shop at that bakery, plain and simple. 🤷

Yeah, I think I'm officially done with that place, honestly. I ended up grabbing a few of those potato latkes and a veggie sandwich, but after that, I'm just not feeling it anymore.

I honestly have no clue what they’re actually putting in there—it’s pretty sketchy—but thanks for the heads-up. Now I know which bakery to steer clear of. Luckily, there are a million other spots to grab a pastry in a city like Chicago anyway.😁

Look, let's not get carried away here. Most bakeries use the exact same ingredients anyway. Honestly, there are plenty of shops out there, so if you don't like what one offers, just don't eat there.

Personally, I wouldn't touch anything containing meat at certain places even if I were starving for days—unless my goal was to end up in the ER with food poisoning.

I have a pretty sensitive stomach, but I haven't had any issues with Miller. I haven't eaten anything from them that actually messed me up yet, so I guess it's all relative.

Prika, it isn't that I don't empathize with you, but this topic doesn't really belong in the Health subforum. 🤔
