Hey there.
So, I’m running an integrated sound card on my motherboard, and I’ve got a dual boot setup with Windows XP and Windows 8.1. For some reason, the audio on Windows XP sounds nearly twice as loud as it does on Windows 8.1, or even on Windows 7 or 10... I can't figure out if it's a specific codec issue, a driver thing, or maybe something buried in the registry. Does anyone know of any software that can actually boost the volume levels?
I’ve been Googling this for days now, but I just can't seem to find anything useful that actually helps...
