Lay on your back, hands behind your head, grab the edge of the bed or whatever, and just slowly lift your legs.

Or, you could try a little variation on that... put your palms under your butt, kick those legs straight up into the air, and lift your hips off the floor. A huge mistake people make is trying to pull their legs toward their head—don't do that! Seriously, watch out for that. Your legs need to go straight up, like, pointing right at the ceiling.
You can keep your legs together or cross them... honestly, I guess it’s best if you just switch it up and do both.
