Best software for repairing corrupted JPG files?

Does anyone know if there's a way to fix an osteći JPG file? Like, can someone point me toward a program that actually works to repair a corrupted JPG...😵😵

It really just depends on which part of the file is actually osteći. If we're talking about a busted header, then honestly, any decent HEX editor can probably save your skin. But man, if the actual data inside is trashed? Not gonna lie, there's not much you can do at that point. It's a total nightmare.
On the flip side, if you still have some hope, you could try running a recovery using something like
PhotoRec or maybe Recuva if you've got a backup or some way to pull those bits back.

Here’s a dirty little trick I’ve picked up, though honestly... it doesn't work every single time.
Just rename the file to something like NESTODRUGO.jpg. You absolutely have to include that dot before the extension.
It’s helped me out before when dealing with a "corrupt" header... but who knows how bad your file is actually

It works for me if, say, the header is just "unknown"... though I guess it's anyone's guess how much or even if your file is actually osteći

The thing is, the file is osteći because I ran a recovery on a wiped hard drive... so now I've got all my folders back and the pictures are numbered and everything, and I've moved them all over to an external drive. But whenever I try to open these photos in any viewer, I just get a blank screen and a message saying the file is corrupted...
I don't know if there's any way to fix this?
Is there anyone out there who can do something with some kind of pro software? I'm seriously willing to pay for it.

recovery? Honestly, I doubt you're gonna pull it off. Maybe try Pixar if you're feeling lucky, though the odds aren't exactly in your favor.
