This is honestly such a brilliant idea. I feel like so many parents will finally be able to catch a movie without the massive headache of having to scramble for a babysitter at the last minute.

He’ll probably just sit there watching Teletubbies with Grace Anderson3, or maybe some other mindless cartoon nonsense.

We actually had a blast. Baby slept through half the movie and spent the rest of the time listening intently to all the other babies crying. A few moms had to step out of the theater constantly with their kids. It wasn't too loud near us; there were two moms with smaller babies in our row, and a kid two rows back cried occasionally, but whenever Baby and him made eye contact, he calmed right down. We already bought tickets for the next one in a month. 🎉

Man, Grace Anderson3, this is just fantastic. We’re all so incredibly proud of Baby 🙂 because he was such a little calm soul; I can already tell he’s going to be a true staple of this community—just a good, kind, and genuinely decent guy.

Yeah, he’s already loving being part of everything lately, so I’m sure he had a blast. 🙂
Honestly, Hans is completely wiped out right now. He says listening to all the constant bickering just drained him. He took the day off today, but he’s absolutely exhausted...🤣

😍 Poor Hans, though I honestly get where he's coming from. I’ve had those moments myself where a Baby’s crying just absolutely drains you; you desperately want to step in and help, but you don't want to overstep or meddle in how someone else is raising their kid, yet you can't exactly bolt for the door or kick your guests out on the spot either. It’s a total lose-lose situation. No matter what you choose to do, you end up feeling like you've messed up. 🕺

I don't want to jinx it, but Baby is in the final stretch and seems way more chill than before. He knows someone is always right there by his side. Still, he’ll start fussing up (mostly just out of boredom and
curiosity) the second I step into another room to get something done. And in those moments, my brain just completely freezes. 😵

I can only imagine what you're going through right now, though honestly, I can only really guess. As time crawls by, he’ll start finding his footing and growing more confident, and eventually, you'll find that same sense of certainty right alongside him. 🙂

Yeah, he knows we’re just part of the herd—at least, that’s how Hans describes the three of us.🙂

The movie is Wunderschön. It’s mostly about learning to embrace your body exactly as it is. It weaves together several different storylines: there's a mom with two kids struggling with her postpartum body and worrying if she's still attractive to her husband; a girl desperate to become a model who tries to force herself into being skinny; an older couple that's grown distant and is trying to figure out what to do next; and a few other arcs. As it turns out, all these people are actually connected.

Look, the Baby doesn't care about that stuff. You just put on the Teletubbies and suddenly the kids are as quiet as a mouse.

Forget the Teletubbies... he's going to watch Pingu instead; at least that’s a universal language.
