Bringing back old threads

Hey there. Quick question: can we get a thread reinstated? Last year, I started a discussion about that rumored CNN series "God Behind His Back," and it turns out all those rumors were actually true. The mods pulled the plug on my thread, though, probably because they thought I was just making things up at the time.

Is there any way to bring the old thread back, or should I just start a new one?
