Greetings to everyone!
On a rather hectic December 17th—perhaps some of you recall that massive multi-car pileup over in Oakland? I was driving my Polar, and because I was rear-ended so hard, I ended up flying across two lanes and crashing right into a storefront window. As a result, I am dealing with a fracture in my third lumbar vertebra, severe bruising to my sternum and ribs, and a broken nose. I have been discharged from the hospital, though I am currently confined to a medical corset; however, the intense pain persists, particularly centered in my sternum.
I would be most grateful if any physicians or individuals who have endured similar traumas could offer some insight regarding how long this acute sternal pain typically lasts, and whether it ought to be subsiding by now.
Because I am taking Marivarin as a preventative measure against thrombosis, my options for pain management are quite restricted. For the time being, I am primarily relying on Voltaren suppositories.
Thank you.
