Hey, I need help ASAP. Heading to the beach this weekend, but just noticed some tiny pimples in an awkward place on my left butt cheek. Maybe from sweat or something, I don't know.
Any ideas for a fix? Like a specific cream or whatever??
Need help fast!!!!!!!!!!!😲 😲 😲 😲 😲

Look, you're sweating because... well, listen... stop sitting in leather chairs or whatever else you've got there...

Sweat less down there, and nothing else is going to help you.😁

I mean, I don't know. Maybe? But I haven't caught a single commercial that actually mentions a pimple in an awkward place 😬

Or maybe someone here has dealt with this before, so I'll leave it up to you... 😁

You just go see a doctor and tell them what's going on. They'll usually prescribe some kind of cream or maybe some pills.
I deal with those breakouts all through the summer. It’s just my stomach and chest that stay clear.
My dermatologist actually told me that this is just how my skin type works.

Sure, that'll soothe the skin and dry up a pimple in an awkward place.

If you're actually breaking out from sweat, just powder your butt—preventatively, obviously.👍

Pills for a pimple in an awkward place? Are you kidding me? Does that even exist?

Try using some Desitin diaper rash cream instead. 😁 I'm dead serious. 😁

These are basically your go-to tablets for whenever you're dealing with itching or that annoying stinging sensation anywhere on your body if those symptoms pop up.

Zinc oxide cream—if that’s how you spell it. You can grab it at any CVS or Walgreens. Just slather it on before bed and by morning the pimple in an awkward place is gone. If it's a bigger one? It'll at least shrink up a bit.

Which pills specifically? 🙂

Now that nimblepanther23 posted, I feel like I saw some stuff about zinc being mentioned on this forum too...

I can't recall the exact name of the tablets, but I know they exist because I took some a few years back to deal with some itchy, stinging skin issues.
Dermatologists definitely know about them, and probably your regular GP too. They might be Claritin, but I can't say for sure.

Zinc oxide serves merely as a vehicle, if I am not mistaken...
As for Claritin or loratadine, they might theoretically help with the itching, but unless it's severe, I doubt anyone would recommend systemic antihistamines over a topical solution, such as a cream.

Trust me on this one... I dealt with a massive amount of acne issues... seriously, a ton... and I can wholeheartedly recommend SKINOREN... you can find it at most pharmacies. It runs about $33 but TRUST ME, it is worth every penny... you won't even need a prescription at 99% of the drugstores

I suspect that no amount of pills or topical acne treatments will actually do much here, since these are almost certainly just sweat-induced breakouts. My suggestion would be to try a gentle exfoliant while you're in the shower, and then follow up with some baby powder—doing that twice a day should help. It’s also probably wise to stick to loose cotton clothing rather than anything restrictive, and I’d avoid sitting on leather or plastic chairs if possible; if you do that, it should clear up within a few days 😉. I have also noticed that a bit of sunshine or even a tanning bed can help dry them out, which eventually causes them to recede

Hey there!

So, I’ve got a bit of a situation on my hands—well, more like a bunch of little situations, if we're being honest. :-)

So, I’ve got these tiny little pimples in an awkward place on my butt—and look, I know plenty of girls deal with this exact same thing, but honestly? It’s still super annoying as hell.
I just wanted to get this sorted out...

If anyone actually has a fix for this, please let me know... I'd be seriously grateful.

I remember seeing a thread titled something like "A pimple in an awkward place," and yeah, people were definitely talking about breakouts on their butts. If you dig through the old posts, you'll see what everyone was saying. Honestly, if all those drugstore creams and lotions aren't doing the trick, just go see a doctor. A dermatologist can actually sort this out for you. It might even be happening because your skin stays covered up and can't breathe down there, especially if you're wearing synthetic underwear too often.

I’m talking about those massive, deep, subcutaneous bumps—the kind that never actually come to a head or let you squeeze them out, just stay buried under the skin. They stay inflamed and painful for ages, like a solid week, and then the redness and scarring linger forever... I’m talking nearly a year of marks...😢... It's not like I get a bunch at once, but because the redness takes so long to fade, it looks like I have a dozen different spots going on at the same time...

It’s honestly awful. I feel like I’ve been fighting this since I can even remember. Things actually calmed down quite a bit over the last two years—it even cleared up completely for a while, which was huge because that's when I started getting intimate with my boyfriend... But now it's back, and the thought of him seeing me like this absolutely terrifies me... 🙂

My skin is otherwise totally fine. No acne, no breakouts on my face or anywhere else on my body... just this one thing. And obviously, I’m super diligent about my hygiene...

Do you guys think I should go see a dermatologist? Has anyone else dealt with something similar, and if so, how did you actually fix it...?

Please, no mean comments. Thanks...

I used to deal with quite a bit of acne across my back. My dermatologist suggested it was likely due to some sort of skin thickening, though I suppose I didn't fully grasp the clinical implications of what that actually meant at the time. To manage it, I ended up picking up an over-the-counter acne lotion and a 2% Clindamycin topical solution from the pharmacy. I made it a habit to apply one in the morning and the other in the evening. Eventually, after struggling with it for a few years, the issue cleared up entirely and hasn't really bothered me since.
