Buying a smartphone on Amazon - which version should I get?

Look, I’m planning to pick up a smartphone through Amazon, but I’m stuck on which version I actually need to ensure it works with an American SIM card. Should I go with the International version or the Western European one? This is a major dealbreaker for me—I really don't want to end up with a useless brick because I picked the wrong model.

I'm looking at getting an onaj plus 6. Not sure if I should go with the GSM or CDMA version.

I’m honestly not sure which band it uses. Since most phones here run on GSM while CDMA is still pretty common across the US, you really want to double-check before you pull the trigger on a purchase.
