Complaint about Lies' moderation

Here is some very straightforward, practical advice: focus on making serious money. Look, if you want to successfully date, you need to be alive, and staying alive requires resources. For many women, having financial stability is a baseline requirement (and just to be clear, I’m not saying "women only care about money"). Basically, having significant wealth covers your basic survival needs while also serving as a sufficient magnet to attract a partner ☕ Even if, by some miracle, you still don't manage to pull anyone, at least you'll still have the cash ☕

While all those nonsensical posts following the suggestions from moderator Drew Ross2 keep getting expanded into even more ridiculous threads, my highly specific and useful advice gets deleted without a single word of explanation.

I’m requesting an intervention and an official statement from the administration regarding this. Thanks! ☕

This post is nothing more than trolling—which, frankly, continues despite my previous warning:

There’s plenty of trolling and pointless chatter on Ljes—it's constant. My main way of trying to shut this down is by deleting the excess posts that just fuel more of the same. In my view, your post falls squarely into that category.
Given that you posted right after a moderator warning, this could have easily been grounds for a formal strike.
Ultimately, having the post deleted was probably the lighter option for you.

If the admins feel my judgment here is off, I suppose they can correct me.

Just hitting delete seems like the easy way out for you since avoiding the debate means you don't have to justify why you posted it in the first place. Are you just trolling? Could you actually point out which specific part of that post you think is untrue? Or are you claiming that the troll post itself is the truth?

There’s such a thing as a "trolling card," and if you ask me, this post probably deserved one. It would have been much simpler to just label it: trolling.

You didn't actually provide any substance here—you just tried to pivot the conversation back to money again. Which is precisely what I asked you not to do in my moderator warning.

Yeah, but then I’d just end up filing an appeal over the warnings, asking for a more detailed explanation, and we’d all just be dragging things out exactly like we are now. You didn't actually answer my question, though: which specific part of my post was supposedly untrue? If I had gone into detail about how to make a massive amount of money, the whole thing probably would have been flagged as off-topic anyway.

You’re well within your rights to appeal a deleted post, a warning, or a ban—or just to flag if you feel something wasn't handled properly.
You exercised that right, I've submitted my response to your appeal, and now we just have to wait for the final word from the higher-ups at 👍
