We’re talking about House of Cards here—basically the edge of politics. Why on earth would a moderator shut down a thread where thirty people are actually engaging? You realize that once that thread gets nuked, House of Cards is going to have fewer active users than Mars? What's the big deal with having a discussion about NYC-DC-Philly? What kind of criteria are we even using? It’s political because we’re tackling current events. And yeah, sure, there’s some banter involved, but we aren't robots meant to just report a headline and give a binary yes or no before moving on. Show a little empathy for the users and the community, and things would go much smoother for everyone. Just bring the thread back. 😉

I’m telling you right now, one or more of these moderators clearly have some massive ego trips going on. I mean, seriously, the way they’re harassing the users here is absolutely unheard of! 😳

I honestly can't stop thinking about this video, and I feel like I just have to share it because it really hit me differently than I expected. It’s one of those pieces that stays with you, sort of pulling at your sleeve and asking you to look a little closer at things we usually take for granted. I found myself sitting there, completely absorbed, feeling a bit overwhelmed by how much it managed to pack into such a short runtime. It’s definitely not something you just watch once and forget about; it’s more like a conversation you keep having with yourself in the quiet moments of the day. I'd love to know if anyone else felt that same sense of unexpected weight while watching it, or if maybe I'm just being a bit overly dramatic today!

Listen, my fellow truth-seekers, this whole thing honestly feels like tilting at windmills. It’s just one of those endless, exhausting battles where we can’t really win; all we can do is bow our heads and pray for forgiveness for sins we never even committed in the first place.

I don't know who exactly is getting worked up about that little dive bar on the edge of town, but honestly, it reminds me so much of those shady cantinas from Star Wars where you never know if you're going to run into a friendly face, get caught in a sudden brawl, hear some loud music, or just deal with someone being incredibly annoying. I mean, someone actually went full-on psycho, acting like they were Darth Vader and trying to test out the Death Star on us!

I honestly feel like there are so many much more controversial topics out there and way bigger idiots being tolerated on this platform, but I guess we just happened to rub someone the wrong way this time... and hey, what can you do? It is what it is.🤷

Who is actually bothered by that little roadside tavern at the edge of the universe? It’s just like one of those cantinas from Star Wars where all sorts of characters drift in—a bit of a brawl here, some music there, the usual boredom... someone has clearly convinced themselves they are Darth Vader, testing out the Death Star on us.

I suspect there are far more critical issues and much larger fools being tolerated in this world, yet somehow, we have become the target... and well, what can you do?...🤷

I am in favor of reopening this topic. After all, let the moderators handle it if they find the insults and similar behavior bothersome.

There isn't actually that much toxicity in this thread. When you look at the total post count, it's practically nothing. Arguments are just part of how people talk online, even if they occasionally turn into insults. Obviously, we don't condone that, and we're constantly working to improve things—we've already cut down the bad language to almost zero.😁

Larry, I don't think you quite grasped how this whole thing actually works...

The entire PDF policy isn't even about making money; it's just been a massive headache for them... which is why they went and lost their minds over House of Cards first, hoping things would settle down a bit... and I mean, sure, things improved slightly, but now we're just left at the mercy of these characters who absolutely cannot handle me and Marino having our little heated debates, or when Jerry and I start tearing into people, or even those endless lectures about how Christ doesn't exist and all those weird ramblings from Joe's crowd about religion...

It reminds me of that time I headed down to Baton Rouge and had the chance to rub elbows with none other than Ronald Reagan, and honestly, it was quite an experience.

Just keep posting, fellow Americans, and you'll be fine—because the second that tougher crew from Mexico starts meddling in our business, everything is going to go straight down the drain.☕

This whole forum runs on ad revenue, which depends entirely on how many clicks people get on specific threads. I wonder what Anderson would say if he saw you shutting down the most popular topics and burying them in random sections just to drive users away? Honestly, sounds like you're headed for a nasty confrontation with the boss. 😁

This isn't even the first time you guys have pulled this kind of stunt. Because of moves like this, a ton of people have already jumped ship to that other forum. I can't recall the name right now, but seriously, think about where this is heading. You’re basically handing your users over to the competition on a silver platter. 😁

That isn't true. I suppose we have definitely crossed the line with our bickering a few times, but we eventually just normalize everything and things settle back down. I guess the folks from Mexico will continue to write their pieces in Politics, much like how someone similar to Alex writes exclusively in PDF format. 🤷
