gmail.com error:25
Whenever I uncheck the "Always allow this exception" box
I can send my Mail.
But once I restart Thunderbird, the exact same issue pops up.
I tried switching the port from 25 to 26, but it didn't change a thing.😵

Forget those credentials,
they mean nothing to me—just a bunch of nonsense.

I'm not quite sure how to shut this down.
Could someone walk me through the steps to do it?
Thanks.

I’m using Thunderbird,

Go to "Extras",
then "Settings",
select "Certificates"
under "Validation"
and just click through without selecting anything until you hit OK.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly, but I haven't had much luck finding it yet.
I've attached a screenshot to show you exactly where I ended up.
If you could just point me in the right direction using some images, that would be a huge help.
Really appreciate it.

Go to "Auto-select one "
and disable "Trust "
If that doesn't work, your version of Thunderbird is broken. I'm running 16.0.1 and I never update while things are working fine. Never.
Maybe three times a year, my Thunderbird freezes and I have to restart it... usually right when I'm typing an Email...
But I won't jump to a newer version. I suspect the newer they get, the worse the behavior becomes. It's the same with all Software...
Newer versions just mean more buggy programming and extra spying.
That’s why they constantly release new Browsers—to increase surveillance and push more targeted ads onto your screen.
It won't be long before it all ends... driven by greed and malice.
