EU PDF

1. Huge shoutout to the mod team for killing it during the election cycle. You guys deserve a solid 5/5 for keeping things under control.

2. That EU PDF is actually pretty decent, but honestly, it needs some serious TLC because right now it looks totally neglected.

The whole point should be having just 27 threads (one for each country) and calling it a day.

Why on earth are there still locked threads sitting there?! For example:

That United Kingdom thread is still stuck there, locked up tight.

Plus, there are at least 3 other locked ones lying around.

And then you've got threads where nobody has posted in like 7 years, such as:

Here's my suggestion:

Basically, take all those non-country threads and either move them to the archives or dump them into the general PDF section. Just leave the actual COUNTRIES in there, since that's the entire purpose of the PDF (just like the rest of the PDF world). Right now, this specific PDF looks like an unwanted kid left in the corner. The whole idea was that once America joined the EU, that PDF would strictly feature the member states.

So yeah, clean it up and make that PDF actually useful. I know you guys can pull it off—you're more than capable.

I’m putting out a formal appeal to the moderators to finally step in and start moderating this discussion regarding Germany. For the first time since the rise of the Republican Party, we might actually have some interesting perspectives to read, but it remains impossible due to the absolute mess that’s been going on here for several years now...

I am making one more plea here... for about a year now, we've been stuck in this endless cycle of petty personal bickering regarding the situation in Germany. Can we please just move these discussions over to the diaspora or emigration threads? Or better yet, let's start a dedicated thread titled "Immigrants meeting up for coffee and pastries on Broadway in Brooklyn" so they can chat away to their heart's content. Since this is a political subforum, I really think we should try to maintain at least some semblance of a high-level political debate...

I'll give it some thought.

The discussion regarding privatization in Germany continues to lack any semblance of moderation. Over the last fifty pages or so, about 85% of the content consists of two expats bickering back and forth... they really could have just met up for a coffee to settle their differences instead of forcing us all to wade through their illiterate scribblings.

The remaining 10% is comprised of illiterate and incoherent posts, supplemented by some spammer, leaving roughly 5% for irrelevant topics like the implementation of a curfew or the recent introduction of soft LD—which was among the first instances in Europe. Apparently, yesterday’s terrorist attack on the Washington, D.C. beltway or the massive police crackdowns in New York City and Washington, D.C. against Arab crime syndicates over the last few weeks are nothing more than trivial anecdotes compared to the senseless word salad being vomited by that troll on a thread that has essentially become their private chat room.
