😍I’m just totally spinning my wheels here. Has anyone ever actually bothered going to those bridal boutiques over in Brooklyn, near Boise? I’ve heard there are tons of them scattered all over the place, but I have no clue what the actual selection is like or if the service is even any good. And honestly, what are we looking at when it comes to the price tags? Help me out!!

Well, they aren't exactly popping up on every corner... I've personally checked out three shops, which seems to be about all there is...

Helen, Ann, and Mike... those are the ones... they tend to be more budget-friendly than what you'd find in San Francisco...

As far as the service goes, the ladies there are incredibly sweet, if that's what you're looking for.. 🙂

Thanks😍 but I was actually thinking more about the selection available... I was doing some digging online and saw that Ann, for example, carries Maggie Sottero designs. The real kicker is that I only have about two days to pull this whole wedding dress thing together, and since my family is out near Boise and San Francisco, it makes things a lot easier to swing by those areas.
@Kate Gonzalez, is October 9th your D-Day or something? If it is, then we are definitely celebrating together!!!🙂

I’ve actually been to Duilio's and it’s quite interesting, but if you're looking for something else, let me give you a tip: check out the salt works over near the small harbor by San Francisco—it’s right against the ocean and absolutely stunning. You should probably call 0919271812 ahead of time to let them know you're coming and make sure they have an opening, since they tend to stay pretty busy with reservations.

They're working, they just can't keep up with everything. That's why that little icon exists on the side.😉

I know what it's for, really... but just look at that stock ticker thread. It hasn't been touched by a single soul, let alone organized 🤷

I know exactly what this tool is for, but just look at that ticker thread—it’s a total mess. 🤷

I've had enough. I'm done. Regarding appeals. 😉

I think ana77 is flying solo, so there's no way she can make it on time. Honestly, I don't know what's going on with that two-faced woman. 🤷

I’m telling you, I know exactly why—it just isn't going to get done in time. 😉
Maybe we should submit a formal proposal for a new moderator. Honestly, the folks over at the FTC could stand to be a bit more active on our end, too. 🤷

There are about three different shops in that area... the selection is decent; you’ll find the classic, somewhat dated styles, but they also have those modern gowns that honestly just take your breath away. The best part is that the prices are significantly lower than what you’d pay in San Francisco, even for the exact same dresses. I know a bunch of girls who drive all the way from San Francisco to Boise specifically for this, and they always come back happy. A colleague of mine actually rented a dress out there—I think it was around $3,500—and she looked absolutely stunning. On top of that, it included a veil (customized to her liking), a cushion, a garter, and a tiara. At least, that’s my understanding of how they do things there...🤷

Well, I ended up finding my dress at a shop called Mile’s in Boise! Honestly, I was really happy with everything—the service was great, the price was right, and the dress itself was perfect. I actually tried on that exact same gown in a boutique in San Francisco, but they wanted something like $4,000$1500! In every single one of those shops in Boise, I managed to find at least one dress I liked. I suppose it might be worth a look if you're in the area!

Hey everyone, just dropping in to say hello.
I think I might need some help...
If any ladies out there happen to know a reliable catering service, would you mind sending me their contact info via private message? I'm currently scouting options for a wedding taking place out in the hills of Northern California. 😁
Thanks so much!

There’s been plenty of talk about catering options already: Arkada, School of American Ballet, Russ, ABBA....

So, after doing a bit of limited jumping (I am currently in my ninth month of pregnancy, after all 😬), I just have to share how much I loved the band mentioned above 😍. Honestly, it’s just more proof of what I’ve said before... these guys are a solid 5 out of 5 👍. The vibe was just something else. I had to stay off the dance floor because the crowd was going wild, dancing and having a blast, so I had to "protect" myself a little 😢
. Anyway, highly recommended. They are totally spontaneous and really read the room; the dance floor was packed the entire night ☕, which was plenty for me and the rest of the guests! (Everyone was raving about them)

One more thing: Sina's Photographer (who used to work at PhotoDex) is working independently now. Unfortunately, I don't have any personal shots since he was too busy to grab me—but if anyone needs his contact info, let me know, I have his cell number 👍
. He is incredibly pleasant, calming, and clearly knows his craft 👍. He was always hovering nearby yet remained completely unobtrusive, just snapping shot after shot... and shot after shot...👍

And their price is honestly such a steal 👍. Only $1,000 for the three of them

Thanks so much for the kind words, though we're still waiting for our guitarist to finally get his act together and find some rhythm.🤮🙂...but one of these days we'll get there, and then we'll be the best band in the galaxy 🤣
