My favorites... Rose... they're actually quite excellent and don't charge much... I believe they even have a Facebook page.

I’ll let you all know once I finally make a decision on which photographer to go with.
Right now, I have availability with Matthew Geldala—his portfolio looks incredible, though I still need to confirm his rates. I also have openings with Megagraf and Studio Smile (Rank Pupic).
For my California shoot, Megagraf and Studio Smile (Rank Pupic) are both free,
and for the top-tier option, I can book Simon Srdarvic (though I'd still need to hunt down a videographer).

To the ladies here with more experience: if you were in my shoes, who would you pick? Thanks a million for the help! 🙂

I've got Volar playing at my event... they were the very first band I saw, and I knew right away they were the ones... I even lucked out because they happened to be available once we finalized the date and the venue... and our photographer is Papaya...

I’ve honestly heard they are absolutely wonderful. Have you ever actually been to one of their parties while they were performing? Or maybe you've heard about that woman who always drinks with them?

I think they seem pretty great too, but the DVD from the last show won't arrive for another 15 days, and that's way too late for me to decide. I have to make my choice in a few days, so I'm really looking for everyone's input! I heard that at a recent party where they played, two bands booked them on the spot. 🙂

Everything I’ve heard is just what I found online, but honestly, it was enough for me. When we actually met up with them, everything clicked. I didn't get a chance to hear the girl sing, but from what I saw, David does about 90% of the singing while she just handles a few songs here and there. We have a party coming up in April, and my best friend is getting married in September—she booked them too after I gave her the 🙂 recommendation. Even the photographer from Papaya mentioned that if you hire Volar, the vibe is absolutely guaranteed. So yeah, I told everyone I’d be recommending both them and Papaya

I feel so bad about the Price of Papaya, but I actually heard about Volar from a friend who went to a gala a few weeks ago. She absolutely loved them and booked them on the spot! Honestly, I'm just thrilled they're available on one of my dates when I have the hall free in July. 🙂

Have you heard anything about the photography for California? I was looking at the shots from those two galas Matthew took for them, and they look incredible. Plus, he’s the only one available on that specific date!

How much is the Price of Papaya going to be for you?

California wasn't even on my radar, so I can't really speak to their situation... I was actually looking into Rank Pupic as a backup plan just in case Papaya isn't available. Simon didn't even have the decency to reply—zero professionalism on his part. 🙄

Help me out here!........I'm looking for some solid bands playing parties around San Francisco and the surrounding areas lately. I already checked in with Viacom and The Beach Boys, but they're totally booked up... plus, I'm really hoping to find someone with a female vocalist....any leads??

Major League Baseball... They're incredible. You definitely won't regret seeing them. I've been to at least seven different backyard BBQs where they played, and they were flawless every single time. They even played at one of my parties once...

Does anyone have any recommendations for a restaurant that does catering? Right now, I'm looking at Boban, Pimpinel, or Arkada. Has anyone here actually used any of those three? I am completely torn! 🤷

I 😍 didn't hire him for my own wedding, but I've seen his portfolio... and honestly, it's incredible. 😍 He shot my daughter's photos 😍 and they are just absolutely perfect. 😍 Highly recommend.

Pimpinel does great catering... never tried Boban... been to Arkada before...

But let's be real, those three places are worlds apart...
Check out Rus or Mala Kate too... they handle catering as well.
