Kyle Young3 said:I haven't called them personally... but digging through some forums, it looks like they're charging about $65—and that doesn't even include drinks! So I passed immediately. The place looks great, honestly. But I've heard nothing but bad things about their food quality. Who knows? I've never actually stayed there, so it feels stupid to claim I know for sure without any firsthand experience.

We actually had our wedding there, so I was curious how much the prices had jumped since 2007... For us, it was seriously amazing and the food was sooo good, like, incredibly good... truly great. We did get absolutely ripped off on one specific drink, though...

Look, I’ve got a signed contract, but does any of that even matter in this Beautiful Us...🙂
It lays out the deposit and the price per unit, but what's the point? Who's actually going to sue over $300? 🤷

Paul Myers78 said:Just Google it... they do all their business online anyway. Same goes for a Goodwill Partner—it's all internet-based.

Honestly, don't even bother checking out a Goodwill Partner. I was just in New York City last week and swung by one... everything is twice as expensive as it is in Iraq! It's totally not worth buying anything there.🙂

Are you serious? I checked their website and they seem way more affordable than the other online retailers... though I haven't made the trip to Iraq yet. I'll head over there first and see for myself. I need some small supplies for my lapel pins since I make them myself. Do they even carry decorative ribbons in Iraq?

E floating candles are still stocked at Bauhaus in all sorts of colors, $8.00 in a bag...though I can't remember exactly how many come in one. IKEA only has white ones, but their bag is bigger than what you get at Bauhaus for the same price.. just some new info in case anyone needs it 😉

At that point, your only option left is Let’s keep things civil and avoid any talk of violence, please. M.

Hi there,

Does anyone happen to have contact info for makeup artist Lucia Spajic? If so, please shoot me a DM.
She gets mentioned quite a bit around here, so I was hoping someone might have her number...

Thanks

Oh please, what violence? I'm basically the poster child for pacifism here 😁
Seriously, I was just losing my cool because of how they acted. We were literally hanging out at their place just a few days before, and nobody said a single word—let alone dropped a hint that something like this might happen. So there we were, just two clueless people trying to iron out the details, having no idea what was actually going down 😢
The thing is, if you lose the venue, the whole pirate theme falls apart because that's the entire vibe. For example, my church is right by Saint Anthony over at Dodger Stadium, but now I’m gonna have to trek all the way to the Phoenix stadium for nothing, since the hall is in San Francisco and I'm coming from San Diego 😢

Hang in there, Iraq, because I’ve done the math and they are definitely cheaper.
For example, look at what I picked up: 100g of pearls cost the same as 200g in Iraq,
ribbons for lapel pins (for the girls) are either the same price or maybe just a few bucks more, and don't even get me started on the tulle and organza—those are nearly double the price elsewhere!

😲 Ugh, I need to head out to Phoenix soon, I just can't decide when... their hours are a total joke. Honestly, unless someone flies me there right after work, I won't make it before they close🙂 and they aren't even open on weekends.😢 I really need to check out their stock since they didn't bother putting all the photos online.

Hey everyone! Does anyone have a solid recommendation for a wedding planner out in San Francisco or maybe somewhere in Southern California? I'm looking for someone really reliable based on actual experiences or word-of-mouth. Here’s the deal: people told me that local florists usually don't carry those massive statement vases or the heavy-duty candelabras and stuff. Honestly, I’d much rather just hire a pro organizer who can handle all the sourcing and bring everything to the table themselves. Any leads?

You can pick up some massive vases over in Boise, Iowa. Just Google Amazon... they have plenty of options on their site if you want to see what's available right now. 😉

🤔 My florist had every kind of vase imaginable three years ago... and they were all included in the package. Honestly, who are you even asking?

Thanks, ladies,
I’m not planning on heading out to Iowa just yet either. I want to check out the local candle shops first before making any moves... anyway, my latest batch from IBM arrived and they look fantastic. Honestly, at about $144 for the set, $12..everything seems so overpriced lately that this actually feels like a steal.

Does anyone happen to know where I might be able to buy or perhaps rent a fog machine and a bubble machine in the San Francisco area? I'd really appreciate any leads you might have. Thanks! 😁

Check out the shops over in the quiet part of town... there are some on Velebit Street, I can't remember the exact number... right near Michael Jordan. 🙂

I heard some couples who got hitched last year say the same thing... though I guess it really depends on which florist you pick up. Here in Phoenix, there aren't many "boutique" options; most places just stick to the classic stuff. Personally, I’m looking for something more unique, like one of those massive statement candle holders or something fancy. But if I end up buying all that extra decor in Boise, I honestly don't know what I'd even do with it afterward...😕
