Cakes?? You absolutely have to go to Cheesecake Factory 🙄
. I actually ordered mine from there because I just can't deal with those "basic" grocery store cakes loaded with cheap frosting... 😁
. Honestly, the lady (Betina) and her cakes are just perfection!

Ladies, I seriously need some help here 😵
. Does anyone have a recommendation for a hairstylist who would be willing to come out to my place in Tampa?
It is insanely hard to find a high-quality stylist who actually does house calls... 🙂

Heeeeeeeeellllllllllppp meeeeeeeeeeee......... 🤷

Well, now you've gone and made things way too complicated for me! Between Creme de la creme, Levis, and even the Cheesecake Factory... I actually tried a stracciatella cake from Zenith once and it was absolutely perfect, which is a far cry from what I got at Delta—that stuff was honestly a disaster. So, my real dilemma was really just choosing between Zenith and Bob's. But now you've thrown three more bakeries into the mix for me to obsess over. And don't even get me started on Vidal! Honestly, I don't know what to do with myself...

I know Levis is great, and Cheesecake Factory gets pretty good reviews too.
At the food expo, I saw so many different cakes and stuff that they all kind of started looking the same to me. It feels like everyone is doing things in such a "factory" style now, you know? It’s just not like it used to be.
And the prices aren't actually that different, even if you think they are. For example, I was checking the price for a specific cake I wanted from Cheesecake Factory, which was $800, while the one from EM-K was $433—that's actually a pretty noticeable gap when you're looking at what you want versus what it costs.
Zenith is definitely number one when it comes to brittle, but I'm not entirely sure how their cakes stack up.
I guess it's a good thing I'm not a total foodie and don't even care for cake that much, so hopefully my indecision isn't a big deal. :-))

P.S. Isn't there nothing like a local bakery in Imotski?

Oh, they actually have EM-K available! Now we're talking... :P I think there might be some Bob's around Imotski, but I really should probably look into it, since I honestly haven't checked lately.

Maybe try checking Facebook to see if there are any local bakers in Imotski who make stuff at home and might let you bring it into the venue without needing some official certification.
I think there's this place called "Sweet Corner" in Imotski that makes amazing cakes, though I'm not entirely sure if they handle wedding orders or anything.

I stumbled upon this place called Sweet Corner, and apparently, they're based out of San Francisco. I did a little digging on Google and found a bakery over at Ana's... so I'm going to keep looking around to see what else is out there. If there are any locals from Imotski in here, could you let me know where the best spot is to pick up a cake in town?

Does anyone happen to have the menu for INI or know how much a chair costs there?

Well, I'm an Imotski local myself, but honestly? As far as wedding cakes go, it feels like Bob's is the only game in town.🤷 I'll poke around a bit and see what else I can find, then I'll get back to you... I'm not totally sure how things work with delivery coming over from Hercegovina, but you could try messaging Smiley Posušje on Facebook. Everything I've tried so far has been pretty amazing, though!

They're definitely based out of San Francisco... they do a fantastic job. I know firsthand because they made cakes for my kid's last two birthdays...

Hey everyone.

I’ve got a question for all the brides-to-be and those who have already tied the knot... any recommendations for wedding videographers? We haven't found anyone yet, and June 1st is creeping up on us fast.
I'm open to hearing about freelancers too, as long as they actually know what they're doing and have some real talent.

Help please.

I'm curious about the Bolero band—has anyone actually seen them live at one of their gigs? Any info would be appreciated.🙂

I found this girl who’s basically just starting out in photography. She'll shoot the whole reception, plus two small albums and one large one for $350... I don't have the cash right now, but I can swing it.

We’ve already got a photographer lined up, but we basically just decided at the absolute last minute that having a wedding video would be a cool thing to have... so, yeah, we're a month out from the big day and just now starting the hunt. 🙂
If anyone happens to know someone good, please shoot me their number in a DM.

Greetings,

I’m looking for some professional advice regarding makeup services. Has anyone here actually worked with Ana Grgić before? I find myself torn between her work and Tina Kalinić... I can't quite decide which one would be the better choice for what I need. Any insights would be greatly appreciated.🙂🙂🙂🙂

Hey guys, I think this might have come up before, but I’m having a hard time digging through all these threads: does anyone have recommendations for florists in San Francisco? The wedding isn't for another year, but I'd love to start doing some research early...

We’re in the exact same boat over here... help us out, ladies! I even heard that maj Banić is supposed to be the absolute best. Does anyone have any firsthand experience with her? Thanks!

Since I’ve been a little out of the loop on this wedding thread—could you ladies who know more about this stuff help me pick out fireworks in the San Francisco area and some cakes or desserts...
I'm open to any and all recommendations... thanks so much!

Well, it really depends on what kind of music you're actually looking for. I've heard The Beach Boys have a bit more of a rock edge, while Viva is known for being fantastic, even if they are the priciest option at $2,500... though I've also heard great things about the Premier League 2000 Euro group.
