Back again... does anyone know where I can pick up some cake gift boxes in Miami or the surrounding area? Or maybe somewhere online that can ship them by next week?

Thomas Scott5, I think they might have some at Nirsa... my ex-fiancée used to pick hers up there, says they’re the cheapest around. 🙂

Hey ladies, does anyone happen to know what the rates are over at Matić for photo and video? Please, please let me know! 😳

William Lewis8, thanks for the reply. Where's the NIRS? I'm not from Miami, so I'm a little lost here.

You can't miss the NIRS building. When you're hitting the highway heading out toward San Diego, just before you pass that gas station on the right... there's this massive structure right there, and it’s got NIRS plastered all over it in huge blue letters.

Has anyone here attended a wedding or perhaps worked one at the convention center in San Diego? I am looking for some information. 🙂

I’m planning on grabbing some catering there for the rehearsal dinner before the wedding. I haven't actually gone in to confirm yet, but fingers crossed it’s included in the package😁... My parents went to the catering event there last September and they absolutely loved it. Seriously, the food, the staff—everything was spot on.... 🙂So, yeah, hopefully that helps at least a little bit... 🙂

Does anyone know where I can go to rent some glass vases in San Francisco—and more importantly—what kind of budget should I be looking at for something like that?

Well, it really all depends on the specific style of vases you're after, doesn't it?
Just shoot me a DM; I have a contact number for a woman who handles this sort of thing.

Hey ladies, I figured it was about time I chimed in.

We’re looking at a November wedding, specifically booking a ballroom at a Marriott, followed by a ceremony at a historic cathedral in San Diego. We’ve also lined up a set from some legendary local rockers—they’re originally from a small town in the Midwest, so I’m wondering if anyone here has actually caught one of their live shows? On top of all that, does anyone have a go-to photographer they’d swear by?

Since I’m also getting married next September, I figured I’d share a few details that might help someone else out. Our wedding is planned for the route between Boise and Phoenix. Just kidding—it's actually Bagusic. Honestly, it was a total nightmare trying to coordinate everything... We originally wanted August 2015, but every single Saturday was already booked up. We went in to reserve everything back in November 2013 and ended up settling on September. As for photography, we went with Sinis Srdanovica from San Francisco; he’s an awesome guy, seriously highly recommended. His communication and how he handled us were just perfect. Our top choices were him and Ivica matica, but we ultimately went with Sinis. We opted for the most expensive package (if anyone wants the pricing, just DM me). Since the video footage isn't our main priority, we hired some local videographers from Phoenix. :-) For music, we have The Beach Boys from St. Louis playing. We considered Bago, but his rate was a bit steep for us at 2,200 euros. Haha ;-) Anyway, we've mostly hammered out the big stuff, and the rest is pretty much decided...

I wonder what he would have charged if you guys weren't even in the equation... Bago really seems to think he’s Stavros! 😂

Hey ladies, have any of you heard about this new magazine, The Knot? Apparently, they're giving away a wedding dress. I found their post and dropped the link right here. Check it out. 🙂 https://www.facebook.com/pages/Weddi...7399440?ref=hl

So, I’m looking for some real talk on these wedding bands—has anyone actually dealt with them before? I’m trying to figure out what the damage is going to be, too. Between Twist Off, Best, and the Jesse band, which one would you guys actually suggest?
Thanks in advance, and if anyone happens to have a ballpark idea of the pricing, I’d seriously appreciate it...🙂

Jesse played at a family gathering for us once, and honestly, they were just kind of... limp. There was zero engagement with the crowd, and their setlist was basically just a collection of depressing breakup ballads—you know, all those songs about heartbreak and being left behind... so yeah, they weren't really my thing. The best I ever saw them was during a gig in San Diego, and they were actually fantastic then; they had so much energy and you could tell they were genuinely trying to entertain everyone rather than just clocking in for a paycheck. I haven't ever heard Twist Off. As for what they charge, I can't really give you a solid answer since their rates seem to be constantly shifting...

Well, from what I understand, Jesse band charges around $2,200, while Best is closer to $1,950, and I believe Twist is somewhere between $1,750 and $2,150, though I cannot say for certain... I did attend a wedding where Best performed, and I must say, they were quite lovely. If I may circle back to the previous mention of Bago, a dear friend of mine has already booked them for next year at a rate of $2,700, but having attended three different weddings where they played, I found myself telling my partner right away that I simply must have them, yet the gentleman is already fully booked, and my fiancé is becoming quite impatient with all this waiting...

Look, Jessie, Jessy bend is more of a rock outfit. They aren't bad if you're into that vibe, but they go for about $2,000. I heard Best Buy—well, the band by that name—perform once ages ago; they’re fine, just a bit too much of a wedding band style for my taste. Personally? Twist Off is hands down the best of the bunch. They run a tight ship, keep the energy up without those awkward, long breaks, and play everything. Plus, they're super approachable and easygoing. 😁 I actually wanted to book them for my own party, but unfortunately, I can't make it happen. 😢 I think they're sitting around $1,600...

Does anyone know how Procter & Gamble operates over in San Diego? Also, what's the deal with getting text paper through Copeland?

And what about Miller and Box when it comes to their selection of invitation paper?

Specifically, I'm looking for something around 190g—something light, matte, no patterns or anything like that...

The text paper should be ready by Monday through Friday by 3:00 PM, though I am quite uncertain about Saturday.

I think Procter & Gamble stays open until 4:00 on weekdays... though I suspect Miller and Box might be a bit more on the pricey side.
