honestly my head is spinning right now, it’s kind of a mess up there, though I guess it’s funny in a way since I’ve got a few favorites lined up so I'll just take whoever ends up being free, but the band itself? man, I just don't know, my top pick has gotta be Bravo Band...

http://barclays.com/ You can find all their info right here.

That venue is gorgeous! It’s actually where I host my events, and I have nothing but good things to say about them.👍
If you have any questions about the space, just ask!😁

I'm putting together a link with my professional photos to post here on the forum soon. Honestly, I'm obsessed with how they turned out—everything was absolutely perfect.

What kind of music do they usually play?

If I want to swing by and check out the venue, I really should give them a heads-up first... I don't want to just barge in on everyone out of nowhere...

Yeah, I totally see what you mean—those girls are seriously lacking that studio vibe, so now I'm actually curious, like, what makes them such top-tier picks and what kind of price range are we even looking at here?

Honestly, they play just about everything! My guests absolutely loved the tunes. I made sure to clear everything with them beforehand—I told them straight up, "No cheesy wedding songs," and they stuck to it. You can pretty much negotiate anything with these guys; they're super flexible.

Give Deer a call (if you're talking about the Seattle location), she'll get you all squared away!

I think they're actually great—especially when you're out drinking with your girlfriend. They play a lot of oldies and foreign tracks, which isn't really my vibe. I also can't stand it when there's too much backing track involved, you know? That's why I went with a band that plays everything live—plus, I've already seen them perform at a party once, so I know they deliver.

It’s totally normal for everyone to geek out over their own photographers! Just like I swear by Studio In, you've got other girls hyping up Fox, Matthews, and the rest of the crew...
Honestly, I couldn't be happier with them. From the second I started planning my wedding through the final chats with the photographer and videographer, they kept me totally in the loop. Now, I know I can be a bit much—I'm definitely that person who asks a million questions about every little detail—but they were so easy to work with and handled everything perfectly.

If I remember right, they're sitting at around $1,400 right now.

I mean, I know they play everything from international hits to local stuff, which is totally fine by me, but I’m still kind of mulling it over, you know? Like, do these bands actually put out anything you can really sink your teeth into, maybe a CD or something similar, or am I just gonna have to take everyone's word for it and pick based on what people recommend?

I wasn't trying to be shady or anything, I was just genuinely wondering! I saw some people throwing shade at photo Marko too, but then I actually looked at their shots and they were honestly flawless, so now I'm just left standing here totally confused.

I've seen their work and if the price really is $1,300, then I think it's worth it... I know some people charge the exact same or even more and the photos aren't even that great...

Hey, Larry Ross43, I’ve been "keeping an eye on you" ever since that ring purchase—what’s the deal currently?!
Is there a date set yet?

Not quite yet, unfortunately, but we're looking at some vague "as soon as possible" kind of timeline🤣

If I remember right, they're sitting at around $1,400 right now.

To clarify, the base package starts at $1,200, which covers everything listed here:
A high-end leather album containing 200 photos in various sizes, such as 8x12, 6x8, and 5x7.

-You get all the photos taken throughout the day and evening on a digital drive, which usually totals somewhere between 1,500 and 2,000 shots.
-A three-hour video edit featuring an intro, childhood photos, parent introductions, footage of the bride, footage of the groom, a dance mix, and a highlight reel summarizing the whole wedding at the end.
-All the raw, unedited footage from the entire day.

Thank-you notes are extra, priced per unit. $2.75There are also additional fees if you want things like group shots with the entire wedding party, a condensed version of the video, or smaller albums specifically for the parents.

@ only me are the ones who have this, and you can check out their site here: http://www.weddingstudioin.com/

That’s what we’re looking at for this year’s pricing. As for next year? Honestly, I haven't the slightest clue yet 🤷
They currently have three different teams 😉

I’m still feeling a bit undecided about where I should go for my hair 😢. Does anyone happen to know of a reliable salon nearby that offers a full package, like hair and makeup all in one place?

So I was just scrolling through the Studio In website looking at some of their shots, and honestly? They aren't bad at all, and the pricing seems pretty decent too, especially when you consider how much other places are charging these days.

I actually took her to a salon in Beverly Hills once... she looked incredible. Her sister does the makeup right there too. Honestly, she looked phenomenal.
So I ended up booking an appointment with them myself. They have a website here:

Mark Grant85 said:I mean, regarding Honey, I think it’s better to just buy it outright—it isn't really worth putting down a deposit since who knows what kind of mess we'll be dealing with later on.

Honestly, it’s the same old story every single year. That massive place is going to be a tough sell, and even if it does go, they really have to stick to their contracts. When you deal with a safe, you make a solid agreement (like you get 2 parts and they keep 1), and you put down a deposit of about $1167 (if I recall correctly), and they actually follow through on everything promised. Personally, I was more than happy with the staff and the food, and my guests were too. There's a beach right below the venue, so you can head down after the feast and just let loose (that was our little move). Oh, and all the floral decor is included in the price (including the head table). You just tell them which colors and flowers you want to dominate the look.
Here is how it looked for us (mind you, those were their flowers, but I added those little nautical touches myself)
image

And here is the centerpiece for the main table, which, like I mentioned, is part of the package (except for that little seahorse I brought in because I wanted that ocean vibe)
