It looks like you might have sent an incomplete message... I'm not quite sure what you were aiming for there—if you have a specific post or some text you need me to work on, just send it over and I'll get right to it... kaže:
Peter and Anna are hosting at their place in a small town—they’ve actually put together four different menus to choose from... prices are listed right there on the menu...
...on the rental side of things, if you're looking to book a hall that includes service, the price is... $6000 Plus—those attachments are... $2.00

Spa Resorts, specifically the Hilton Hotels... $103 All-inclusive packages—now available for rent... $33 It’s either priced per person or there's a set menu option at $155 per head—that covers both the first and second courses...

Thanks so much for the info—you really helped me out there... I’m just a little stuck on the details regarding Visnjevac and Bizovac. I’m not quite sure what "hall rental" actually entails in this context? For example, when it says Bizovac-pay me 310kn, I'm still trying to wrap my head around how that works...$103Personal stuff and more... $33Anyone know a good person to handle some catering for a party?

Do you happen to know how the "all-inclusive" thing actually works there—like, does that usually include things like desserts and drinks too...?

Thanks...

Over at Peter and Anna's place in that small town—they’ve got four different menus available right now... everything is listed on their page, including which dishes fall under which menu and exactly how much it'll cost depending on how many people are coming along...
Check out this catering menu from the Brotherhood group—it’s featuring some delicious options put together by Petra and Anna... honestly, looking through their selection makes me realize how much easier life is when someone else handles the cooking. They have everything laid out beautifully, from light bites to full course meals... perfect if you're planning a gathering or just want to treat yourself. It's quite a spread...

There’s actually an option to just rent out the hall itself—meaning you get the space, plus a chef and servers included—and the price is... $6000 + $2.00 Still waiting on that chair to finally arrive...
Of course, they’re definitely trying to push that meal plan on everyone—but there is another way to handle things... we actually sat down with a guy from the Brotherhood last week, his name is Sinclair, and I can send over his number via private message if anyone is interested...
So, if that's how we're doing things—once the contract is all signed and settled—you basically just tell them what you're craving, and their chef handles the rest... they'll map out all the nutritional requirements and calculate exactly what needs to be bought, how much of it, and everything like that...
My uncle is a chef, so we did some rough math based on what he knows—it looks like we’d be looking at about... $13667 So, looking at the breakdown—it includes everything from the food, like the roast pork and lamb, to all the drinks and desserts—plus the venue rental and the linens for 200 guests. When you run the numbers that way, this option actually ends up being a bit more budget-friendly than just picking out individual menu items...

There are three different versions available over in Bizovac...
The $310 all-inclusive deal covers everything—all the drinks, the food, the lamb, and those pork cuts... I'm just not entirely sure if that includes dessert yet...
- $33 Regarding the personal side of things—the hall rental and service fees—they’re still factoring in the staffing requirements, and we're handling all the purchasing ourselves... though, to be fair, that price does include the linen service, like the tablecloths and those chair covers...
We’ve got about 200 people coming—so, looking at the numbers, that would put us right around... $6667And there they go again—showing up with all their own food and drinks in tow... $13333It’s basically the exact same thing as back in that small town...
The third option is... $52 Their menu is pretty straightforward—you start things off with this hearty soup course that comes with a platter of three different meats, including one roasted shank... and then for the main event, you get to choose between either stuffed cabbage rolls or a rustic shepherd’s stew...

We were torn between those two venues at the end, but we finally pulled the trigger and booked Bizovac for June 4th, 2010. We actually headed out last Saturday night to check out how the wedding party looked over at Peter and Anna’s place—just to get a feel for the vibe—and honestly, it was alright. The hall looks really lovely once you see it filled with people... but for the same price, Bizovac just feels a bit more upscale to us. We actually attended a wedding there recently and it was truly beautiful...
The people in Bizovac are just wonderful—they’re incredibly open-minded when it comes to working things out and finding common ground through different arrangements... In fact, my old man is actually there right now, sitting down with them and hashing out all the details to see if we should move forward with this specific option... $33 Whether you're looking to order specifically for someone else or just browsing through their full menu... $52.

Sorry if this turned into such a massive wall of text—I just really hope I was able to help out!...

I have my wedding coming up this September, but I still haven't sorted out the desserts. Does anyone have any good recommendations for bakeries in Indianapolis or the surrounding areas? Thanks!🙂

I could honestly give a solid recommendation for John Doe...

Honestly, these are hands down the best cookies I’ve ever had—I mean, seriously... we make sure to have them on hand for both Christmas and Easter, and we've actually already put in an order for a wedding, too...
She’s got quite a bit on her plate right now—lots to get through—but you should probably try giving her a call... she might just find herself free exactly when your weekend rolls around...
The cookies are... $22 The cakes are going for about $170 per kilogram...$67But honestly, they are just massive—I mean, those trendy, youthful cakes can easily run you anywhere from $800...$433.

God, I can be so silly sometimes—it was actually June 4th, 2011.
Between all this math and trying to get everything booked, I've completely lost track of time...

So, I just got back from this wedding, and honestly? Given how much they charged, the food and service were a total letdown. I think they’re actually pricier than the Grand Ballroom in NYC. The waitstaff situation was a mess, too—there were barely enough servers to handle the crowd. As for the food, it was just... off. The soup tasted fake, the sauces were way too acidic and salty, and the stuffed cabbage was basically rubbery mush. Then, we didn't even get dessert until 2:00 PM, so most people didn't even bother tasting it, even though you're usually supposed to have it around midnight when the bride makes her entrance. I guess it's all subjective, but the decor was pretty tacky, too—those bright, patterned walls looked more like a circus tent than a wedding venue.
That was my experience, anyway.
Just a heads up, if you ever need help with wedding tents, decor, venues, table settings, or silverware—or maybe even a buffet setup—that's actually what I do for a living.

It’s gorgeous 😍
But honestly, it hits me a bit weird—maybe it's just because I grew up in Chicago where we don't skip the appetizers before the soup, or where you can actually get decent lamb and roasted pork.
The seating layout is fine, though—it isn't shaped like a T or an L, so nobody ends up stuck in a blind spot missing the action.

Out in the Midwest, you usually get two full dinners—the first one around 9 or 10 PM, and then the second one rolls out around 1 or 2 AM... it’s not like how you guys do it in the city, where you get soup at 10, then the next course at 11, and so on. 😍 We Midwesterners actually like to eat so we can get back to the dance floor, rather than waiting around all night. ☕

I remember the first time I went to a wedding in the city and we had no idea how their schedule worked 🤣 we were absolutely starving by midnight before any actual food showed up. 🤣🤣🤣 But hey, we learned our lesson. 🙏

well, we're all just dancing along 😁
how's that work—you actually making deals with Sal?
but honestly, I haven't had a single person from the Midwest visit me in Chicago complain about me once 🤣

In my neck of the woods in the Midwest, we do three separate dinners. First one's at 8:00—appetizers, soup, and the usual sides. Then around 11:00, we hit the roast pork and lamb, plus maybe two helpings of some hearty stew or cabbage rolls. You definitely won't be hungry. 😁

Olivia Gomez2, seriously, you were such a lifesaver... I actually had Bill Gates at the top of my list too, but once I stumbled upon that place in Small Town, USA, I was totally sold. I’ve been to a few weddings over near the Midwest area before and they were decent enough, though I did hear some whispers later on about the servers being a bit too "generous" with the till—if you know what I mean... call it light-fingeredness, I guess. That was a few years back though, so who knows if things have cleaned up since then? Anyway, your big day is right around the corner, so I’ll be waiting to hear how everything goes. Just a heads-up, though: a friend of mine who hosted her wedding there mentioned the staff made off with a bunch of those little gift boxes of cookies meant for the guests on their way out. Just wanted to put that on your radar so you can keep an eye on things...

The pastries from Main Street are superior. At every wedding I've attended where they served them, the platters were cleared within thirty minutes. They disappear instantly. It isn't just about paying $22/kg; when you see a tray holding 36 pieces weighing over 1.2 kg, you realize the value. 🙂

They actually made a custom youth version based on what I wanted. I sent over a photo and ended up loving it. There are even some shots of it tucked away in our wedding album somewhere...

Hey ladies,

Quick question—has anyone here actually tried making DIY invitations using test tubes? If so, where on earth did you find them and how much did they set you back?

I saw the photos—thanks for letting me know! 🙂
Your cake was absolutely lovely; it was simple, yet managed to be quite striking 😁
By the way, you looked stunning too. You were exactly how a bride should be: carefree, smiling, and just full of life. 😁😁😁😁

Oh, Angela Davis74, you're really making this a difficult choice for me! 🙄
I think I might end up pulling a card from a deck just to decide which bakery to go with. 🤣
How far in advance did you all usually place your dessert orders? Or does anyone know when the ideal time would be to get that finalized? 🤷
My wedding is set for October 9th.

I told my mom it was already getting late in the day, but thankfully we managed to get a hold of Granny's Rest 🙂
We’re planning to head over there this week to place our order and finally get everything wrapped up. 😍😍

Does anyone have a sense of what the typical price points look like over in Greencrest, and what kind of value they actually provide?
