For those of you who happen to be heading down the hallway a bit more often, I was wondering if you might have happened to spot any little flower girl dresses in stock? And if so, do you have any idea what the price range looks like?
I’m also curious about the boys' stuff—you know, things like suspenders, little pillows, and all that other wedding gear...

Look, I'm actually heading there this weekend, so I can take a look for you. I'll let you know what I find.

I feel like I’ve been trying to bring this up constantly, but I just can't seem to find the right way to say it... So, look, I have this gift voucher for some wedding decoration services from a place over in $167, and honestly, there's just no way I'm going to be able to use it. It feels like a total waste to let it just sit there and expire, which I really hate. If anyone here has already grabbed one, or if you were planning on picking one up anyway, then please, consider this my gift to you! I'd much rather someone actually benefits from it than see it go to waste.

In our case, Leon handles the visuals, then you have his lighting setup paired with some pieces sourced from Tobler... you’re looking at somewhere between $4,000 and $6,000, depending entirely on which ballroom you book!

Please check the balloon prices too (if they have solid white or purple), and the thick tulle or organza options (white and purple as well, what's the cost?). Thanks!!!

Great. I guess you'll be looking into it yourself anyway, so it won't be any trouble for me when you let me know... 🙂))

Mine is more like a faded cyclamen... leaning towards purple...

If you're hunting for aisle runners, tulle, balloons... I've hit up just about everywhere. Honestly, your best bet is Target in the big warehouse district—check the last shop on the left or the first one on the right depending on which entrance you use. A pack of 100 balloons is $4.00, those little 10-packs of tulle run about $1.00 if they're narrow and maybe $1.75 if they're wider. That 10m roll of mesh is $11, and tablecloths are about the same. They've pretty much got everything in stock 😉 so there you go... hope this helps someone out

Actually, I think you might have gotten mixed up... I'm not the one heading down the hallway!! 😬

Well, I guess it really just depends on what you’re looking for and what your specific taste is,
The bouquet itself usually runs about $167
And if you want those arrangements for the church, you’re probably looking at somewhere between $200 and $167, and honestly, the car decor is pretty much the same thing
As for the table settings, those start at $6.75 and go up from there, and the pew decorations follow that same kind of pricing
Personally, I just gave them a maximum number that I was comfortable with, paid a deposit upfront, and let them know which flowers I generally liked, basically telling them to just work their magic, though the contract does mention that the final price could fluctuate by maybe another 10 percent

I’ve decided to handle my own wedding decoration. I’ve already sourced most of what I need, and it’s going to cost me about $300, maybe even less.
As for makeup, I’m useless there—I haven't even figured out who I'm booking yet.

I don't get why they're expensive. You basically tell them what you want and what your budget is, then they let you know if it's doable—or they help you find a workaround. Anyway, I booked them and I think it'll be great. I want something pretty out there, and I don't think anyone else would actually know how to pull it off... Unlike Jaka, who thinks she's getting a deal when she's asking for a single lily wrapped in baby's breath $27 😲

Sure thing, happy to help.
It seems everyone is obsessed with white and purple lately—back when I had my wedding, people were actually questioning my choice of colors. 🙂 Turns out lavender was the true culprit here. 🙂 In the end, though, it was such a stunning palette, and honestly, my whole house smelled like a field of lavender because of it. 🙂))

I’m running with a purple, white, and green combo myself, so I'm definitely interested in this. Count me in.

Just for comparison...

I hired a high-end florist who actually surprised me with how reasonable the initial quote was. I don't have the exact final breakdown yet, but the package included the bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, car decor, our bouquet, two bouquets for the wedding party, a toss bouquet, and full hall decor—about 35 large centerpieces plus the head table. I also rented bar stools and chairs, a balloon arch for the house, and helium balloons for the buffet area. Everything featured roses, lilies, organza, ivy, and candles... all for $1000. She mentioned the price might shift by about $100-$$67 depending on market rates for flowers, but nothing more than that.

I'm happy with the choice. I think they'll do a great job since I was very specific and brought plenty of reference photos. It’s hard to go wrong when you provide a clear vision.

I was actually torn between those two options myself, but I guess it doesn't really matter much now
maybe the total difference will end up being $167

Here’s my take on this, though you don't have to agree with me.
For comparison purposes:
At Exclusive, the prices are:
- a bouquet starts at $167
- head table arrangements run from $200-$$167, and the car decor is the same
- they quoted me about $33 for the table decorations, including all the floral accents.
I don't know anything else about their pricing since it's been a while since I worked with them.
Meanwhile, over at Orchid, the prices look like this:
- bouquets range from $180-$$83
- head table arrangements are $100-$$83, similar for the car decor
- toss bouquets are $17
- boutonnieres for the groom, groomsmen, and parents are $6.75
I can't say how much the table arrangements cost there because I’m not doing traditional floral centerpieces.
Chocolate 555, I'm going in a different direction for the table decor. At the Bonnie Nouveau shop near the arches, you can pick up pebbles, sand, and various candles
at pretty reasonable prices. I went to a flower show and met a woman who does these unique arrangements in glassware (not using live flowers,
something very unconventional) starting at $25-$$13. I'm planning to get the ones for $8.25 because they’re gorgeous and she offers a bulk discount.
I also found a woman at the flower show who makes ceramic pieces with floral details (also very lovely). She has a variety of price points and offers a discount
for larger orders too.
Both of them work out of their homes, so they're hard to track down, but the flower show was a huge help.

Ladies, does anyone happen to know if there's anywhere in the Midwest where I can rent an oldtimer car? Also, where can I find the cheapest bow ties in bulk? I need about 300 of them 😢

The girls mentioned you could find cheap bows over in Canada, but I'm not totally sure! I picked up 50 of them in NYC (they ship whenever you need them) for $17!! Now some of my friends living nearby are making them for me too—not pre-made, though, they actually shape them by hand themselves!! 🙂
