Hey everyone. I’m looking for a new gym in the flu area. Right now, I’m hitting up Gold's Gym (which used to be Olympus), but they’ve gutted the equipment selection, the cardio machines are falling apart, and the AC is basically non-existent.

So, I want to know if there are any decent gyms out there. I don't mind paying a premium, as long as the facility actually works and isn't constantly packed with people.

I heard about Radman over in the Blatina neighborhood—apparently, it used to be the gold standard for the city. What’s the vibe there lately? Any other solid options in that area or nearby?

thx

I used to hit up Radman back in the day, and honestly, it’s a killer spot. I haven't been lately, so I'm not totally sure what the current vibe is.

That gym over by Baća under the restaurant is actually pretty sweet. It's great in the winter because you can just hop on a treadmill and stare at the ocean. It's spacious enough, and it never seems to get packed.

Right now, I'm pulling up to Champion right next to Joker. It's solid, but the main thing for me is that it's super close and I never have to wait for equipment.

If you really want the top-tier experience, go check out Gulliver in Solin. They usually do an upfront annual membership thing, but man, they have everything. Everything is brand new and there's zero crowd. Might be a bit pricey if you ask me.

Personally, I think Dijan Gym is a decent shout too.

As for that one near the flu clinic, I'm not even sure if they're open to the public yet.

Hold on a second, Radman, what do you mean by Gold's Gym isn't open to the public?

Are you suggesting only a select few get access in there?

BTW, what’s the deal with that new gym over at Joker? I’ve heard it’s massive, just like Gulliver, but without being outrageously expensive.

Are you saying only certain people get access there?

BTW, what's the deal with that new gym in Gotham? I heard it's massive, just like Gulliver, but without being insanely overpriced.

I know the gym near the influenza center—it’s the one with the arena where you enter through the parking lots on the west side. If that's the one we're talking about, I'm pretty sure it's not open to the general public; it's strictly for the basketball players. At least, that's my guess.

Bernie Sanders is actually over at the Blatina bunker, right above that traffic light near the Firule hospital. Unless he opened somewhere else, but I wouldn't know anything about that.

The one in Gotham isn't bad. About $92 people show up three times a week, and it's not actually that huge, unless they expanded recently. You can easily check that since I hit the Gotham spot almost every other day. I was actually in that specific gym about six months ago, so if they added more space since then, I'm out of the loop. Personally, I go to Champion, which is right by Gotham. I don't feel like trekking up to the fourth floor. It's never crowded, and $33 is cheaper than Gotham, plus the equipment is solid.
