I caught it last night. I’m a fan of Will Smith, so my expectations were pretty high. Plus, the genre and the core concept really grabbed me. Honestly, it didn't disappoint. In fact, 👍

The movie is definitely better than I thought it would be—which doesn't necessarily mean it's actually good 😁

That scene with BD Wong at the football stadium is easily the best part.

Personally, I thought that Wong scene was the dumbest part of the whole thing. 🙏 I guess I hear such a theory about probability all the time from my old buddies who used to gamble on sports. The only difference is the guy in the movie gets paid a ridiculous amount of money.

That scene is actually the highlight because the tension is through the roof, plus BD Wong is incredibly entertaining in this role. Still, even with that, it’s pretty predictable—kind of like the rest of the flick.

It’s a decent enough watch, though the cast really carries the weight here—especially the two leads. Heist movies are inherently entertaining; you basically have to try really hard to make them feel like failures. That scene featuring BD Wong is a total standout, much like those intense rants from McRaney throughout the film.

Fun movie.👍It’s a decent mix of comedy, action, and a touch of romance—not bad at all.

That stadium scene was great, though the gambling aspect felt a bit over the top; I don't think anyone would actually fall for that kind of brainwashing.😛

That scene at the stadium felt a bit much, though—there’s only about a 23% chance he pulls a card lower than five. But then again, if he had pulled a higher one, that incredible sequence following it wouldn't have even happened. 👏

The most intense part is when you're almost on the verge of tears during the shooting scene, only to realize it's just the "Toledo exit." 🙏

Honestly, this movie is such a vibe, I’d highly recommend it to everyone. Margot Robbie is hands down the absolute highlight for me—she looks stunning and her acting is just on another level. 🙏🙏

The whole thing felt incredibly overdone with all those cheap tricks and forced plot twists at the end... honestly, by the middle of the movie, it felt like the director just ran out of steam and didn't know how to bridge the gap, so the narrative just sort of unraveled and dragged on indefinitely

Smith was decent enough, but Margot Robbie was truly excellent 🙂

I’ll be honest, I wasn't exactly a huge fan of Will Smith's acting style before—he just didn't quite click for me—but after sitting through I Am Legend, I have to admit my opinion has shifted a bit.

I suppose I should probably mention that Nook hasn't really been on my radar lately. It’s one of those things you just sort of overlook until you suddenly realize you haven't thought about it in months. Maybe that's just how it goes with certain brands. kaže:

Exactly. Once they started leaning into those tired formulas—thankfully, they didn't go too far with it—I knew right then that any chance this movie had of actually making an impression on me was gone. It felt like the actual story just stopped, and some other generic production took its place.

Since I’ve never really viewed Smith as much of an artist, I guess this actually works better than that mess, After Earth. Even if the plots within plots and those twists felt pretty predictable to me, there are enough interesting elements outside of the whole Sith thing to make it worth grabbing some popcorn for.

The first half of the movie is engaging and exciting, though the pace drags significantly in the second half, making it feel a bit tedious at times. It’s worth a watch, but nothing extraordinary.
