I agree completely. I actually stopped by just to see if it was my connection or if something had truly changed.

Forum page loads are taking an absolute eternity today; between the #504 timeouts and constant System Errors, it’s becoming a regular occurrence.

I’ve noticed the forum goes dark every single day from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM, throwing up nothing but database errors and #504 timeouts.
This has been happening since Saturday.

At the current rate, these page load speeds are about as fast as the U.S. government's ability to climb out of a recession.

Someone seriously needs to rename this ridiculous forum to DatabaseError.com or 504Error.com

You guys are pathetic. Someone is straight-up making money off this garbage heap of a forum. There used to be times when you could actually squeeze in a few hours of browsing between server crashes and all this other nonsense, but now? You can't even stay connected for five minutes without hitting an error. It’s honestly embarrassing that this is supposed to be the biggest forum in the country.

Men is awesome; I can actually finish reading all the news on the site while the page loads. It’s perfect for multitasking with multiple tabs open.🙏

Perhaps we should consider upgrading that Intel Pentium III running the server that hosts this forum.... 🤷

So, what was that all about today? Why was this entire forum down for hours on end? Honestly, I have to wonder who’s actually in charge of maintaining this place. Are we ever going to get some kind of actual explanation regarding these technical glitches, or is that just asking too much? Does anyone even bother responding to questions or complaints anymore? At this rate, I’m starting to wonder if it’s worth trying to get a new forum off the ground instead.

The answer to those last three questions is pretty much a flat-out no.
