Greetings.
I am planning to send my children (ages 13 and 14) on a Swiss bus. I have questions regarding the power of attorney requirements. What specific documentation would the driver need to hold, or is there an alternative method for authorization?
Thank you in advance.

The cops? They know everything. Every little thing.🙏

I remember one time when I was about 14 or 15, taking a bus across the state line, and they just took my passport for a second. They did some quick check in those little booths—probably just making sure I wasn't trying to hop a fence or something—and then handed it right back. But, well, let's be real, traveling between states isn't quite the same thing as crossing into Switzerland.😬

In a suitcase?

The primary concern here involves the legal documentation. I am referring to actual legal requirements, not just some digital file. Furthermore, an adult must accompany them; you would need to draft a power of attorney, have it notarized, and then present it to the police for inspection. Once that is handled, everything should proceed without any issues.
