Matt Jones, I honestly don't think he can sustain this level of play for another two rounds.

It was pouring rain on Friday, so the greens should be pretty soft. I'm guessing we'll see a ton of birdies during the third round.

I’m really pulling for Jason Day to finally clinch a Major. He's already got nine US Open runner-ups and four at The Open under his belt.

Martin Kaymer handled that beautifully; honestly, I get the feeling he hasn't even tapped into his full potential yet...

I don't know, personally I think having two Majors and 14 wins across the European Tour and the PGA Tour (including the Players Championship) is pretty damn solid for a 30-year-old...🙂

To me, he looks like someone who could have been the next Jordan Spieth much earlier in his career. Back when he was tearing up the European Tour with those two or three straight wins, it felt like nobody was going to stop him.

But when you actually sit down and crunch the numbers, sure, it’s a solid career for a 30-year-old, but it isn't quite that elite, top-tier status I truly believe he's capable of reaching. For instance, I think he possesses that same spark Rory McIlroy has, except this kid is younger and already has twice as many Majors, if you catch my drift...

Jordan Spieth is just on another level, winning three in a row...

But if following golf has taught me anything, it’s how insanely hard it is to maintain consistency—not just in winning, but in staying at the top. Only a handful of people actually pull it off. Right now, in my book, that's just Rory and Spieth. Even Rory had that year-long slump, whereas Spieth is still too young to have hit a wall like that yet. 🙂

Kaymer is right there behind them. Ask Sergio Garcia, Henrik Stenson, Lee Westwood, and the rest of the crew what they'd give up—not for two, but for just one Major... 😁

Tiger Woods was in a league of his own ten years ago, and I doubt anyone's coming close to that kind of dominance again. Personally, I think Phil Mickelson was in the same class as today's Spieth and Rory.

Is it finally time for Day? He’s sitting on three runner-up finishes now, always hovering right there in the mix. If he can manage to build up enough of a cushion ahead of Martin Kaymer, Jordan Spieth, and Justin Rose, I honestly think he has what it takes to pull it off...

I’d love to see Day grab one too. Feels like it's about time... though I wouldn't mind seeing Justin Rose pick up another Major while we're at it.

Looks like we're in for a bit of a heatwave for the final round—probably hitting somewhere in the 85 to 90 range. I guess the wind might pick up a little more than it did on Saturday, too.

I guess the greens might be playing a little faster than they were during the third round.

Nah, I don't know. I honestly think they've got the lowest shot out of the top five at actually taking home the title. Jordan Spieth I guess I'm just here. Grace They played their third round without any major ups and downs, which was a pretty big contrast to how Day and Rose were playing.

Maybe it’s finally time for this Australian to actually pull off a flawless fourth round in a Major.

It feels a little early for the heavy hitters to be starting up, doesn't it? They're kicking things off at 2:45 PM over there, which puts us at 8:45 PM local time. I wonder if they're just trying to build in some breathing room in case we head into a playoff...

I really do like Day, so if we end up pulling for Jordan Spieth tonight, I guess I can live with it...

Jason deserved it. He stayed incredibly composed on the greens during those final holes, even when I was fully expecting him to burn out under the pressure.

Jordan Spieth proved once again what an absolute class act he is with that little gesture; we’re going to see plenty more duels like this one, and I’m already looking forward to them...
