Douglas Taylor2 said:Just wanted to give you guys an update, I took another test this morning, and once again - 😢
I haven't started my period yet, so I'm really hoping it isn't anything serious 😢

😢

It’s possible the test was just a dud 😉, wait a few more days then try again, and if it still doesn't show, go see a doctor
I'm crossing my fingers for a positive result for you 😍 😘

Hey everyone, it’s me again. For those who don't remember me—on Wednesday, I took two pregnancy tests and both came back positive. But by Monday, I started seeing some brown spotting. I panicked and headed to the ER since my OB-GYN is out on vacation, but they wouldn't give me any straight answers. The nurse basically hinted that the pregnancy might already be gone—apparently, my uterine lining looks thick, almost like I'm about to start my period. Then a nurse practitioner told me these are symptoms of a miscarriage and advised me to just take some prenatal vitamins and stay on bed rest until my appointment. Now I'm stuck in limbo... do I run another test right away, or just wait? Please, I could use some advice...🤷🤷😢

Just sit tight, stay still, and take your medication...
And honestly, just let your sister deal with her own nonsense.
I dealt with both bleeding and brown spotting myself, and nothing happened to the baby... 🤷
Mind you, I wasn't resting or taking any pills back then—that was during the very early stages of pregnancy, around four weeks, before I even realized what was happening...

Douglas Taylor2 said:I guess I was wondering if anyone here has ever had an experience where a Clearblue test gave a totally wrong result?

My period was late—I was already on day 36, when my cycle is usually strictly 26 to 28 days—and the test came back negative, even though I used it first thing in the morning...
My period still hadn't arrived, so I went to my doctor for a blood pregnancy test; by then, I was on day 50, and the HCG levels were at 3500 IU. To be absolutely certain, I grabbed another Clearblue and took it in the afternoon—it showed a massive positive.
So, don't lose hope just yet...

The whole month, I was under an incredible amount of stress at work—my manager was out, so I was running everything myself—and I honestly assumed the stress was why my period was late. Turns out, I was pregnant, and I didn't have a single symptom—no breast tenderness, no nausea, nothing specific at all... except for one night where I had some sharp abdominal pain and thought my period was finally coming, but looking back, it was probably just implantation... maybe.

Anyway, I really hope you get a positive result too.

I was so incredibly happy that I spent the whole day walking down the street with a huge grin on my face—so much so that a woman actually stopped me to ask what was wrong, and in my excitement, I ended up giving her $17—I don't know what came over me! :-))))

Seriously—what does a nurse have to say about your ultrasound results? Like, come on... she isn't the doctor.

I dealt with brown discharge and massive bleeding myself—and I didn't even stay in bed—but everything turned out fine. As long as you aren't dealing with heavy cramping and bleeding, you're probably okay.

I mean, how would my sister know anything about this? She isn't a doctor.
Honestly, I’d just go get a second opinion from a private specialist somewhere.

I'm with you on this. Don't take her word for it—even if I am a nurse myself🤔. They can be pretty 🙂 if they want to be. Definitely head to a private practice. Really hoping everything turns out fine.😘

Even if it turns out to be a miscarriage, there’s honestly no point in bothering with a test right away—beta hCG levels just linger in your system for about a month after an ABC
If you think you might be miscarrying, you really need to head to the ER instead of relying on some random forum😉

Sending you all the good vibes I can muster

I picked up one of those cheap mini tests and used it first thing in the morning after a day or two of being late, and again—nothing...
And now I'm already a week late... I think I'll wait one more week, and if nothing happens, I'll take another test. If it comes back negative, well, then I guess I'll just have to deal with it, as if I have much of a choice.😢
I find it hard to believe a test would be wrong twice... who knows...
Keep in mind I used the Clearblue in the afternoon and the cheap one in the morning...

mrs. piggy, maybe try one of those early detection tests—I think they call them one-step tests or something—around $5.00 because... I actually took one just two days before my period was due and it showed a positive right away. I did it around 6 PM, and then I tested again about a week after my expected period date using a Clearblue test, and it still showed a positive immediately.

But if two can show us how it's done, do you guys think there's any chance a third one could actually pull off a positive result? 😢

That first one wasn't worth much anyway; you jumped the gun on it 🤷

After two negatives, my third one was also negative... My period ended up being over a week late, which is unusual for me. It turns out it was all just stress because I was so obsessed with seeing a positive result. Once my period finally arrived, I tested again a month later—used a Clearblue at 10 PM, two days before my expected period—and it was positive right away. Just saying, don't lose hope if the third one is still negative. Wait for your period to pass, then 🙂 give it a shot 😍 with your partner.

Thanks, everyone... I’m honestly not sure if I’ll make it to the third one. I just don't have the energy left—I'm not sure I can go through that whole ordeal again.

Don't even bother with a third one because it's just going to come back negative too. 😉...those home tests are actually quite sensitive and should pick up on things as soon as you're even one day late. 😉.......Either way, it’s probably better for you to just head to the doctor and get some actual answers about what's going on. 👍

If they were actually that great, I guess maybe sixty percent of people wouldn't be pointing out how wrong 😁 they are when it comes to these girls, haha...
