Is it worth hitting the gym at 15? Can you actually see real results if you stay on top of your diet and supplements?

Absolutely. Honestly, that’s the perfect age to start if you want to hit your peak potential later on.

Are you kidding me? You can't be serious right now.😕

A 15-year-old kid? Man, his testosterone is basically redlining right now—it’s gonna stay peaked for a few years and then just... vanish.

Honestly, those are the prime years to hit the gym...

just make sure you actually learn proper form first and don't go ego lifting too fast...

Go ahead... take a guess...

@Raymond Wood69

How many times are we going to circle back to this exact same question?

This whole thread is completely pointless...

Why wouldn't I be able to achieve it?

Instead, why don't you ask what steps are required to reach those specific goals?

Look, man—if you actually want to hit the gym, just go! There’s really no point in sitting here asking everyone else if it's a good idea or anything like that

Tvuk katanac

goldenfox24, maybe once you finally get promoted to moderator you can start locking threads and doing whatever you want...

Tvuk really doesn't need your unsolicited advice☕ (in every single thread)

If I were running the show as a moderator, I’d probably just wipe out the entire subforum—not out of spite, mind you, but just to seek some kind of digital absolution! Honestly, I was asking those exact same kinds of questions when I first joined, only to be met with those "go read the FAQ" responses. It can be a bit much sometimes. And that padlock icon? You know, you really ought to put that in your signature 😁

Forgive me, Lord, because I know I was asking these exact same stupid questions when I first joined, only to get told to "go read the FAQ" instead. And hey, nice one—you could probably put that padlock emoji right in your signature. 😁

See? Now you're being cool. 😁

Threads like this are honestly just a massive waste of everyone's time. If you actually want to see progress, you need to get off your ass and step away from the computer instead of just dropping mindless questions on a forum. It’s common sense—you get visible results by eating right and hitting the gym, period. Since you're still in that developmental stage, your testosterone levels are likely through the roof anyway; you don't need a cabinet full of supplements. Maybe some whey if you're lazy, but even that's easily covered by a solid diet. And look, I'm not saying this just to shut the conversation down, but the OP should probably be flagged—if I'm not mistaken, this is the second or third time this exact same user has posted a thread like this.

Everything sounds good on paper, but my biggest hurdle is actually showing up at the gym... I feel a bit self-conscious walking in there in front of those guys 🙄 but a job's a job, and I'll get it done

Yeah, it’s an open secret in most local gyms—they practically circle the newbies like sharks the second they walk through the door 🙄

If I were 17 or 18, sure. But at 15? What was your first experience like hitting the gym?

So, what exactly is your mental image of a gym?

Do you think it’s like some Hollywood movie scene where twenty massive dudes weighing 300 pounds are just screaming at the ceiling while lifting entire cars?

In reality, it’s mostly just beginners and people trying to get their lives together

There is zero reason to feel awkward; everyone had to start somewhere...

I just started my own routine about three months ago, and honestly, it was perfectly fine😁

Around here, I see a handful of fifteen-year-olds who spend every single day obsessing over their abs—trying so hard to get that definition to pop—but then, when goldenfox24 shows up and starts knocking out pull-ups with a 45-pound plate attached, they just stand there staring in total silence. It’s funny, really; those first experiences walking into a gym can be quite the eye-opener, even if they are a bit humbling rather than being purely awesome

Man, don't even sweat it. You know exactly why you're there, so just get in and get it done..

First time was back when I was 18, but I could never really stay consistent. By "consistent," I mean I’ll hit the gym hard for three months, then disappear for half a year or more... been doing that dance for about three years now. I mostly view the gym as just a hobby, you know? Just trying to bulk up without making it my entire personality. There are definitely those types of guys there who make you want to turn around and walk right out the door. But honestly, who cares? Like they say, nobody's actually going to eat you. You’ll run into some guys acting like they’re geniuses—even though they clearly aren't—trying to drop "expert advice" on you, so just be ready for a certain number of unsolicited "personal trainer" pitches. Then there are the chill, experienced regulars who see you messing up a rep and’ll give you a genuine tip if they see you struggling. As for how people look... man, I've seen it all. I once saw this guy who had to be 450 pounds, shaped like a literal beach ball, showing up to lift and ride a stationary bike. So, trust me, you’re never going to be the biggest outlier in the room.
Just use your head, stay consistent (unlike me), and the results will follow. Ask one of the trainers to whip up a mass-building program for you, show you the fundamentals, and then just work, work, work....

P.S. I might actually jump back in once finals week is over, but I'm probably just setting myself up for another cycle of hype followed by total disappointment in my own strength and stamina. Especially once I try hitting chest again.
