Having trouble logging into Gmail?

There might already be a thread for this, so feel free to move my post if I'm out of line...
Anyway, I really need some help here! My boyfriend is completely locked out of his email—he can’t remember the password, the security questions, or even roughly when he originally set the account up. It all started because he changed his Facebook password and forgot that one, too; now, the reset link is being sent to an old email address he created back in middle school, which he also can't access. Is there any way for him to regain control of his profile if he can't get into the email first? I’ve already tried a few things on my end, but no luck so far 👎 please help, kind souls 😁

I mean, seriously... If that were actually possible, anyone could just break into your email or Facebook account whenever they felt like it. This isn't some game.

If he didn't save his password and hasn't even logged into that email in years, there's a good chance he never bothered to set up any of those secondary security options, like using a smartphone for recovery. And if he didn't do that either, then he's pretty much out of luck...
