Help!

I’m pretty young and definitely lacking experience here, so I really need some advice! I am head over heels for this girl who works at a local shop near my place. Honestly, almost every guy in the neighborhood is chasing her, but I’ve been playing it cool—acting indifferent and aloof even though I’m actually crushing hard. She looks incredible, and if I’m being real, I never even dreamed I’d have a shot with her. But ever since she started working there, things have changed. From day one, she’s always been smiling at me. At first, she was super polite and respectful, but lately, she’s started asking me personal questions and sharing things about her own life. Whenever I pick something up, she’ll say stuff like, "I saved this one just for you," or "I've got this tucked away for you." If I don't show up for a week or so, she actually checks in on me, asking where I've been or why I haven't stopped by. She even gets a little bit pouty about it. I get the distinct feeling she’s into me, but I’ve been playing dumb and acting cold this whole time. Every time I walk in, I catch her glancing my way, and she always seems to be hovering nearby. Plus, she smiles at me every single time I come in or leave. Here’s the catch, though: she has a boyfriend, and whenever I see them together, she looks genuinely happy. So, what should I do? Is she just messing with me for fun, or should I finally ask her out? Should I have done it a long time ago?

As long as she’s got a boyfriend, she’s gonna act like she doesn't care...👍

Just don't even look her way while she's taken! Well, okay, you can look, but don't touch! 😛

Maybe she just sees you as a friend. The way you two talk doesn't necessarily mean she's looking for something more. If you're certain she’s already seeing someone, I wouldn't try anything. Even if people say you can change your mind at the altar, why risk it? Your only real shot is if you happen to be lucky enough to be more than just a buddy to her.

It’s possible they act that way with everyone and it doesn't actually mean anything; I guess there are just plenty of people like that out there...

She works retail, so that friendly demeanor is just part of the job to draw people in... You're reading the signals all wrong. As long as she’s seeing someone, just keep your distance...
