How do I attach files to a DM?

Hi,

I am looking to send a private message to another forum member and I need to include an image—specifically, a dental X-ray—as an attachment.

Could someone please explain how I might go about doing this 😁?

I did attempt to use the copy and paste method, but unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be working at all.

If I manage to get it to work, would the image appear directly in the message body, or would it be sent as a file attachment that the recipient would have to click on and open separately?

So, you can't actually attach files when you're just sending a private message. I think they only enabled that feature for when you're making a new post on the board.
Honestly, it’d probably be easiest if you just set up an account on some image hosting site—like Imgur or something—upload your picture there, and then just toss the link into the message.

Quick question about the Democratic Party.
Is there any way we could get an edit window enabled for a set amount of time—maybe like 15 minutes or something?
