So, I have a bit of a question for the group... I toggled my status to invisible mode, but instead of seeing that usual gray dot under my avatar, it’s showing up as red. I haven't seen anyone else deal with this before—it seems a little off, doesn't it? Could someone shed some light on what might be going on here...👋

look 🙂

that red dot just means you're set to invisible...

no one else can see it—to me, your icon is still blue 😉

Where on earth is that supposed to be? Where do I even find this invisible mode setting? 😕 😳
It’s probably buried somewhere in my profile settings, but I’m clearly missing it, as usual. 😎

It’s easiest if you just follow this:

1. Click on "private message"
2. Open the "settings menu"—you'll find the link on the left-hand side
3. You will see a checkbox labeled "Use Incognito mode"

Why not just hit settings menu instead of jumping straight to a private message? 😁

It presents a much more interesting interface. 😁

I find the Settings menu pretty interesting; all the threads I've participated in that have new replies since I last checked are right there. 😁

Alright, you might catch this response over there as well. 😉

It’s pretty standard—it makes for a rather interesting page when it keeps pointing back to my posts. 🙂

Hey. 🙂

Actually, I just tried that myself—but it isn't working for me, specifically regarding this thread. It didn't show that you posted. Any idea what the catch might be?

Settings menu > Edit settings menu > messaging & Notification section > default Thread Subscription mode > select whatever you prefer.

I personally set mine to subscribe, but without the email alerts—I just check for updates whenever I log in to the forum. Let me know what you end up deciding.

Yeah, yeah, thanks. 🙂 I figured things out in the meantime and everything cleared up—I saw you posted.

Fair enough, it’s a good idea. 🙂

Actually, now that I think about it, back when I first started using this forum, I turned that option on—but only to get the email alerts. Eventually, I realized it was just too much noise, and I never really bothered to dive deep into those kinds of forum settings. 😁

Not many people are aware of her, so they end up using other methods instead 😁

but who cares 😁 😁
