Java issues

So, here is the situation: whenever I head over to those movie streaming sites like Netflix or Hulu, I run into this specific issue.

even though the video player itself seems to be functioning perfectly fine on my end.



The catch is that I am completely blocked from watching any movies or series because it claims java isn't working correctly...

I am honestly at a loss as to what is going wrong here, so if anyone happens to have some insight or a bit of advice on how to fix this, I would certainly appreciate it.

Just to clarify, this same headache keeps happening whether I am using Firefox, Chrome, or Ice dragon.

The issue is just this new version of java. If you’d actually spent five minutes reading the threads, you’d see we already covered this... just hit the Control Panel, go to the java security settings, and drop it down to medium. That should fix it.

I haven't been keeping up with all the updates, though I have noticed that for a little while now, whenever I try to enable java, a warning message pops up...

I’m running into the exact same issue. If I recall correctly, I used to fix this by dropping the setting down to medium.
But now, when I navigate to the security settings, the medium option is nowhere to be found.😲 What am I supposed to do then? All I see are high and very high.
