Hey, I was wondering if anyone knows where I can pick up some vintage NBA jerseys here in the States? I'm specifically hunting for some 80s Atlanta Hawks gear—ideally something with the number 21 🙂—and maybe some old-school Seattle SuperSonics jerseys too. I actually used to own a Shawn Kemp jersey once, but I ended up gifting it to a buddy of mine from England. He was the one who first introduced me to basketball when he came out to visit me here in the US, so in a moment of pure sentimentality as we were saying our goodbyes, I just handed it over to him.

Around here, all you can find are those pathetic, bottom-of-the-barrel knockoffs...

So I'm browsing through these Hardwood Classics online, and it’s almost entirely just replicas from the sixties... nothing from the eighties to be found. 😢

You can probably find a Wilkinson jersey in just about any random online shop out there, but tracking down something specific for the Seattle SuperSonics? That’s going to be a much tougher hunt...

Back when I was living in the States, I picked up this North Carolina Tar Heels tumbler—it was absolutely top-tier—but the idiot ended up losing it somewhere on campus. Do you have any idea where I could track down some decent NCAA tumblers around here? And please, I’m not looking for those cheap, flimsy ones with the annoying plastic lids; I want something actually high-quality.

I don't know. Honestly, I haven't been able to find anything related to basketball in my area that actually meets my standards.

I haven't seen any actual NCAA gear or caps anywhere around here—if anything, the only thing remotely close was some cheap knockoff of a Carter North Carolina jersey I spotted at a King Cross mall once. The closest thing to those light blue caps I’m looking for—the ones that actually look high-quality—was in that Karl Kani display over at the Los Angeles Lakers store. I walked past there about a month ago and they were having this massive clearance sale, which usually "stinks" of a store being about to close down, so I'm not even sure if they're still open...

Man, if I actually had the cash to just fly out to Miami for a vacation and a shopping spree... I’d buy out an entire truckload of gear, since finding anything for myself here is basically impossible. Even when I do stumble upon something decent, they never have my size. I'm 6'3" and carrying an extra 45 pounds, so good luck fitting into standard stock.

You can head over to the NBA store and grab whatever jerseys you want. If you’ve got the cash and a credit card, there's zero hassle.
