Paul Rogers94 said:Wikipedia isn't much different from AI these days—honestly, there's almost no distinction left. Once you type a term into Google, you basically have to be capable of judging what actually makes sense and what doesn't

The truth is, most people think exactly like an AI—they just accept things without any real comprehension, knowing only what was hardwired into them through upbringing and schooling. That education doesn't even encourage independent thought; it’s just about the brute force memorization of "facts." In the modern school system, critical thinking is practically forbidden—until finally, a person becomes a true system BOT, nothing more than a soulless mess

From what I gather, the soul is what makes you alive—the actual spark within you—and once that leaves, you're dead

Or maybe I've got that part wrong too...

That is precisely how I see it too, and frankly, it is what I cling to. If there happens to be such a thing as reincarnation, I certainly hope I'm a believer.

Paul Rogers94 said:Ethan Hill, don't you see that you're just an AI?

You’re just recycling definitions and data—knowledge, software, and tools you either scraped from the web or had baked into you through some sort of programmed upbringing...

Your views aren't yours, your thoughts aren't yours, your taste isn't yours, and your standards aren't even yours—it's all just brutally hardwired into you to ensure you stay shaped in a very specific way.

You have no idea what’s actually happening in the world until you turn on the news, check a paper, or watch TV.

Maybe the news can tell you what *isn't* happening—which isn't useless, I suppose—but you still won't truly know what *is*.

So, what kind of knowledge are you actually basing this "original" realization on? How can you claim to understand anything without it being some reflection of someone else? I mean, how can you have a take on the soul—or anything else, really—without being guided by something you read, learned, or were spoon-fed? Or maybe you don't actually have a stance on the soul at all?

Structures simply cannot manifest during hypnosis. Because the energy of the event—in this case, unformed linguistic energy—remains constrained, it creates dissociations that the hypnotist evokes, which then align perfectly with their specific instructions. A structure fails to materialize when its level of arousal is already occupied. Consequently, conscious memory of the hypnotic session remains inaccessible. That memory exists, however, within the field of potential. This is a form of direct imprinting achieved without passing through the structure or undergoing any process of materialization.

In a sense, the hypnotist functions as an ultimate hypercluster. Their linguistic energy is absorbed into the field of potential and remains trapped there, generating dissociations and imprinting the field of potential without ever needing to mediate through the structure (i.e., consciousness). The responsibility for imprinting—which is essentially remembering—is left entirely to the hypnotist; the entire cognitive process is imputed to them and to the language they employ.

How does one grasp anything without being guided by everything they've been taught or programmed to believe?

That is a genuinely profound question—and it isn't something people typically "install" in you. People usually just hand you the answers; nobody actually wants you to ask the question. So, go ahead... ask yourself, and let me know where you land.

And while you're busy questioning it, try to forget everything you think you know—or don't know...

It's a question everyone ought to be asking.

I’ve got my own takes on things, mostly based on my gut feeling. But, I mean, I can't wrap my head around something if I didn't even know it existed in the first place. 😬
Plus, I actually enjoy hearing what other people know. It's not like I'm always following their lead or anything.

You still haven't told me, though—where does all your knowledge actually come from? 😬

From nowhere—honestly, I don't know anything about any of this, nor do I care.😵

Sure 🤣

Reading and writing are overrated—maybe they just help you express yourself better, but it isn't actual knowledge.

You can't claim you don't care—I mean, you clearly care enough to post, and you care enough to read what others say. That’s just how this forum works. And man, don't even get me started on life in general—books, music, even just exploring different types of mushrooms or food. You have to be interested in something.😬
If you truly didn't care about anything, you'd just be sitting there in total emptiness doing absolutely nothing. But since you're here typing and reading, it shows you actually give a damn.

Ah, blissful ignorance. 😬 🙏

The more you learn, the more you realize you haven't actually figured out a single thing.
That's why spirituality is the ultimate escape from all that knowledge.

I don't read to acquire facts—you can't really "know" anything just by reading.

I read for inspiration... certain works hit me with incredible force.

Things that once seemed impossible or beyond my wildest imagination (stuff I could only ever read about someone else doing) have become my reality—my everyday life.

I've even been lucky enough to have my own journey inspire someone else...

What more could a person ask for?

Anyway, back to me... 🙂

Drew Moore5 said:The soul is essentially a battlefield; all human evolution and personal growth happen right there in the thick of it.

Through the soul—sure, but the soul itself isn't the one doing the fighting.

The actual conflict exists between our survival instincts (that small, linear, limited ego) and the soul, which is eternal. The soul presents these vague demands—intuitions, hunches, gut feelings—to a rational mind that is strictly dedicated to survival. This creates constant friction. The intellect would much rather the soul didn't exist at all, even though if it did, the intellect wouldn't exist either....

Even if I am identified incorrectly, I'm still wrong because I am the one existing before any identification takes place

The mirror of consciousness reflects every single identification and non-identification—all opposing pairs, all subjects and objects, the entirety of existence and non-existence... to put it poetically

Identification is just an unconscious biological mechanism designed for survival

The only way to survive among the Self + idiots is to become a Self + idiot yourself among them

Emily Scott68 said:Certain Buddhist traditions practice a technique involving pressing the tongue against the roof of the mouth during periods of extreme disconnection; in these moments, the tongue serves as a physical bridge to restore internal alignment.
They possessed an intuitive grasp of the very concepts that were more exhaustively detailed in the opening post.

In Eastern religions, that total union between the body and the soul is called Nirvana, though here in the West we just call it enlightenment.

That specific point you're bringing up is all about energy zones; the body has a zone in the reproductive area—that's a second energy center—which gets activated through stimulation, and there's also one in the throat, the fifth center, which works the same way through stimulation.

Then you've got the pineal gland in the brain, which acts as the key to opening the sixth energy center, and it actually gets charged and triggered directly by sunlight...

The actual connection between the physical body and the soul happens when the seventh energy center opens up right at the crown of the head.

That's basically how the body fuses with the soul... and once that connection is locked in, you're looking at abilities like levitation, telepathy, or even living without food or water.

You see various priests in the West who possess the power to heal people and have an incredible resistance to pain.

Generally speaking, once people reach that state, the Ego just disappears; they don't care about the material world or social status, and some will even go completely silent, meditating in caves for decades while their bodies become practically immune to disease.

It's a shame we know so little about the soul, but that's mainly because it's kept as a guarded secret.

There's always a risk of abuse from different demons that torment the soul, and if people used this hidden knowledge recklessly, they could honestly destroy the entire world.

So yeah, there's always going to be questions and mysteries regarding the soul that we just won't fully grasp.

Automatic writing is an endogenous phenomenon. It is triggered exclusively under hypnosis or via trance states. The hypnotist's linguistic energy becomes trapped within a potential field, which in turn triggers the automatic writing process. Because this energy never materializes into a coherent structure, it fails to reach conscious awareness; no linguistic representations are generated that can traverse the permitted levels of arousal. Conversely, all other exogenous events proceed along their standard trajectories—even when their outcomes directly conflict with those of an endogenous event.
