For a beta-HCG test? Seriously? Who gives a damn...

From what I can gather from the threads here, there are only two solid dentists in Washington, D.C.:
1. Dr. Azinovic for laser tooth repair
2. Dr. Pelivan for prosthodontics
What I really want to know is: how long does their work actually last? Like, has anyone had a crown fall out or a filling fail after seeing them?
Has anyone here actually had a bad experience with either of them?
I saw on their websites that they're both pretty young. That’s a double-edged sword, isn't it? On one hand, they're probably more up-to-speed on all the latest tech, but on the other hand, do they actually have the years of experience that the older doctors have?

Looking at their websites, they seem pretty young. That’s a double-edged sword—they're likely more open to modern tech, but they might lack the decades of experience older dentists have.

I've seen Azinovic mentioned before... but Pelivan?!
Where did those two names even come from?

Tons of dentists get brought up in these discussions, but I definitely haven't noticed these two being the big names everyone talks about...😕

I’ve been scrolling through these messages since page one. Since I only care about private practice options, I naturally gravitated toward all the glowing reviews for these two. I even checked out the comments over at www.webmd.com. Honestly, I can't tell if they're actually paying to promote themselves on these sites or what, so I’m looking for some real input from the rest of you. Someone mentioned Dr. Boris Dzundzev—has anyone actually worked with him? His website looks incredible and he uses all these cutting-edge techniques, but of course, it says absolutely nothing about how long the results actually last...

Can you get an MRI done privately in San Diego anywhere besides Sun Polyclinic? I haven't seen any good reviews for them lately.

Got a referral for an endocrinologist.
So, I’m looking for some solid recommendations for a good one in Washington, D.C.
Do you actually have to book ahead, and how long is the wait looking like?

Hey, can anyone point me in the right direction for finding a good GP? I'm looking to register somewhere in Washington, D.C., ideally somewhere around the Downtown or Queens area if possible.

Also, I'm on the hunt for a gynecologist. Any leads? Help a person out!

Do you need an appointment, and how long is the wait?

Maybe ask on the topic of shield; you'll probably get a much faster answer there. 🙂

I’ve been looking for an endocrinologist in Washington, D.C., too, and I already tried posting on Toš (the topic of shield), but honestly, I didn't get any answers at all. 😢 So, I guess I'll go again—who knows, maybe if we all chip in together, we'll finally get somewhere.

I’d help you out if I could, but I’m not from NYC, so I have no clue what the local procedures look like or which doctors around there are actually any good. 🙂

So, I finally called and booked an appointment with an endocrinologist over at Mayo Clinic. Honestly, who knows if this guy is actually any good? It’ll be a total surprise.😁
Anyway, I just scheduled it today—September 8th—and my turn isn't until November 4th...
Just enough time to have to $3.25 all over again just to get a fresh referral...
Seriously, you can't even be sick in peace anymore without dealing with this nonsense.🙂
I'll let you guys know if he's actually decent once I finally make it in.🙂

So, I finally pulled the trigger and placed my order today—September 8th. According to the current timeline, they’re telling me it won’t actually arrive until November 4th. Unbelievable.
I’m probably going to have to go at it again. $3.25 For the new patient...
It feels like you can't even be sick in peace anymore without someone breathing down your neck. Seriously, when does it end?🙂
I’m checking in—is it worth it if I just show up when it's my turn?🙂

You guys really need to look at the Mayo Clinic—they’ve actually managed to shorten their waiting lists.

Check out Tihomir Čupić over on Šimićev. He’s super patient and his work is solid.

Hey guys 🙂

Does anyone know how long the wait times usually are at the Mayo Clinic when you're trying to see a dermatologist? I'm looking for some advice too—mostly dealing with acne issues. Thanks! ☕

I am looking for a private orthodontist or dentist regarding braces, specifically someone who offers financing or monthly payment plans.

Not right now, though I can certainly tell you who to avoid—specifically Dr. Anderson. It’s strange how some people swear by her, but in my experience, she just puts you through a few minutes of discomfort before prescribing whatever product happens to be plastered on a giant advertisement in her office that month.🤷

I’m dealing with some pretty nasty ankle issues lately—nothing short of a nightmare. I went through an arthroscopy back at a clinic in Philadelphia, which, frankly, was a complete waste of time since they barely cleared out any of the debris. Now, I’m looking at a major open surgery just to get things functional again. The problem? The surgeon who performed the initial arthroscopy is being incredibly dismissive; he’s basically washing his hands of the whole thing, claiming there's nothing more to be done. But I know better—my MRI shows clear evidence of the stuff that's still causing trouble, stuff they missed entirely. Does anyone know if a different orthopedic specialist in a major hub like Chicago might actually take me on and, you know, actually address the issue? I'm aiming for somewhere high-end, maybe even a top-tier facility like the Mayo Clinic.
