Could anyone recommend a good GP or a dentist in the Brooklyn or Queens area?

So, if you're hanging around Queens, there’s this clinic over on 2nd Avenue near Selske—wait, let me find the right street... yeah, near Selske—where you can see Dr. Jankoli or Dr. Bošnjak. Honestly, the nurse working with Dr. Bošnjak is an absolute gem, seriously a lifesaver, and they’ve got a dentist right there too, which makes things way easier.
I haven't actually been to either of them myself, but I've heard through the grapevine that people are pretty happy with the care there. I don't know if it's close enough for you, though, so maybe do a little digging and check them out.🙂

I wonder if there might be anyone on this forum with enough expertise to provide some insight regarding growth hormone and general physical development? I'm personally feeling quite dissatisfied with my current progress... Thanks in advance.

I am currently 16 years old and dealing with some significant issues regarding my upper front teeth—they are far too protruded. My dentist has informed me that I definitely need braces to correct this. However, there is a major catch: if I rely on Medicare, I won't be eligible for coverage for at least another seven years—which, quite frankly, feels like an eternity when you're my age. To make matters worse, I have no idea where to find any affordable dental specialists. What kind of orthodontic treatment would you recommend? More importantly, can anyone point me toward an affordable dentist in the Miami area?

Since you're hunting for an orthodontist in St. Louis, I've moved your post over to the right section—and as for deciding between types of braces, you might want to browse through or ask around in both the removable and fixed appliance threads (you'll find both listed in the topic index).

I’m looking for some advice: where can I get a high-quality gastroscopy done without facing an endless waiting list, and ideally, without breaking the bank?

Hey everyone, I could really use some help here: does anyone know if there's a dentist in San Francisco (or maybe somewhere nearby?) who actually uses ozone therapy to treat cavities?

Also—and this is kind of a big one—does anyone have a solid recommendation for a pediatric dentist?

Does anyone know a solid gynecologist over in the western part of the city—maybe near Brooklyn? I'm also looking for a good dentist who takes Medicare.

please 😉

Hey there,

Does anyone have a recommendation for a dentist in NYC who takes Blue Cross Blue Shield? I'm looking for someone with decent rates, since insurance barely covers anything these days anyway...

Thanks in advance! 🙂

Does anyone have recommendations for a good primary care doctor (Medicare) in the downtown area or maybe a bit further out? Thanks! :O)

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good OB-GYN in Washington, D.C., maybe someone who actually has some openings 🙂
I was scrolling through this thread the other day and saw two doctors mentioned in the comments, but for the life of me, I can't find them again now, so if you could just drop their names one more time, that would be amazing.
Also, does anyone know what the deal is with the initial appointment process? I could always just call around to ask about paperwork and all that, but if anyone feels like typing out what I'll need, feel free to shoot me a DM.
Thanks so much!

Maybe try looking into George Washington, but honestly, make sure you ask about the price first (get them to commit to it!) because it can get pretty pricey.
Whatever you do, stay far away from Jordan (they share an office with Taylor Swift)!! It’s insanely expensive, and frankly, the quality just isn't there. I know a few people who ended up having to go back to other dentists to fix stuff like fillings and crowns...

Jacob Harris35 said:I attempted to schedule an appointment with an orthopedist at the Mayo Clinic and received this response via email:

"Dear Patient,

Our schedule is fully booked through the end of the year. We will begin booking for next year in November. A new orthopedist is expected to join our staff toward the end of August, so you may reach out again at that time.

Thank you for your patience and understanding."

Does anyone know of any other options where I might be able to get seen sooner, provided it isn't a private clinic?

You could try the Holy Spirit hospital or the Trauma Center. Alternatively, you might consider seeing the doctor from Smith privately.

I have had an excellent experience with Dr. Smith-Jones over on Johnson Street.

Since I'm on the hunt for a solid vascular surgeon—and honestly, most of the discussions on this thread feel like they're from a different era—I figured I'd just put it out there. It’s regarding some blockage in the carotid arteries, so if anyone has a specialist they swear by, I’m all ears. Any leads would be huge 🙂

Does anyone happen to know a good cardiologist over in San Francisco? (Ideally someone in private practice, maybe at one of those local clinics)

I ended up booking an appointment via email with an orthopedic surgeon at Holy Spirit hospital for September 7th. In the grand scheme of things, waiting less than a month isn't even that bad, is it?👍
