Hey there,
I'm on the hunt for a good GP in Washington, D.C.—honestly, I don't care if they're a seasoned veteran or a fresh face on the scene. My priority right now is finding the right doctor first, because once I have that sorted, I'll look into renting an apartment near @Tomek100—ideally somewhere that's patient-friendly and where a doctor would be willing to take me on, since I'm currently on substitution therapy using heptanones.

Hey everyone.

I'm looking to see if there are any private doctors in Washington, D.C. who handle full hormone panels? Ideally, I need someone who can actually prescribe testosterone therapy if the results show it's necessary. I've been scouring the internet, but honestly, I'm coming up empty.

Best.

Hey there!

Does anyone know a solid, experienced, and actually competent GP or family doctor? I’ve developed this edema on my soft palate, and my doctor sent me to a dentist, who then just sent me right back to her. I’m looking for a third or even fourth opinion because I’m really not convinced she knows what she’s dealing with, and frankly, I don't want to sit around waiting to find out if it's some kind of tumor or cancer.

Hey everyone, does anyone know which cities in the Midwest have private CT scan facilities available? Also, what's the typical wait time like, and can I get a ballpark idea of the cost?

Looking for a psychiatrist in Washington, D.C. who actually knows their stuff when it comes to pharmacology. I need someone who specializes in meds rather than just talk therapy. Private practice only.
Ideally, someone with decent hours—maybe evening or Saturday availability if possible.

If I recall correctly, Quest Diagnostics has a branch over in Indianapolis too.
If you're paying out of pocket, you're probably looking at maybe a day or two max before they get you in.

Just give them a quick ring and ask.
Prices vary depending on exactly what part of the body they're scanning.

Hey there,
does anyone happen to know a good GP in NYC? Honestly, I don't really care if they're a veteran or a newcomer—I just need someone who's actually accepting new patients and won't give me any grief about being on substitution therapy, specifically with heptanones.

Hey everyone.
Does anyone have a solid GP recommendation (guy or gal, doesn't matter) near Brooklyn or neighborhoods like the downtown area (Trešnjavka, Trnje)? Ideally, someone friendly, easy to talk to, and who isn't stingy with specialist referrals. And please, someone who won't roll their eyes when you walk in (yeah, yeah, I know I'm looking for perfection 🙄). I don't hit the doctor often since I stay pretty healthy, but I’m hoping to find someone younger—hoping they might be a bit more approachable. I've run into some health stuff lately where I could really use the support of a pro who actually cares. Must take Medicare.

Is there any hope out there? 😛

Thanks

Hey everyone, does anyone happen to know where the wait times are shortest right now? I was looking into the Mayo Clinic... but everything seems backed up until September. Honestly, everywhere from the local clinics to places out in the Midwest... it’s all packed solid for at least nine months.

Is anyone else here trying to get an MRI covered through Medicare?

Thanks a bunch

Hey there!

Has anyone here actually been to see Dr. Jelić over in Manhattan? Just wondering if anyone has experience with him. 🙂

Hey everyone!
Does anyone have a solid recommendation for a good urologist in Washington, D.C.? Since I'm a woman, I was wondering if any other ladies here have had a positive experience with someone specific?

Greetings,

I am looking for recommendations for an endocrinologist in NYC who specializes in pituitary issues. Private practice or hospital setting—it doesn't matter.

I think I need to get some cardiac work done—an ultrasound and probably a Holter monitor... Has anyone here been to Kardioton to see Dr. Mirat? I'd love to hear about your experiences if you have any. 👍
