Hey everyone... So, I woke up this morning and noticed this little lump on my back—right on my right shoulder blade—and honestly, seeing it in the mirror was a bit of a shock. I’ve attached a photo so you can see what I mean. I'm definitely planning on heading to my doctor first thing tomorrow, but I'll admit I'm spiraling just a little bit in the meantime... it's hard not to panic when you find something unexpected like this. It feels pretty firm to the touch, but I can actually cup the whole thing in my fingers and move it around quite easily under the skin. It doesn't feel stuck to the muscle or anything; it just slides around whenever I nudge it. Does anyone have any idea what this might be? I stay pretty active and hit the gym quite hard, if that matters at all... I did some digging and read about myalgia, but I'm not sure if that's even what we're looking at here. Thanks so much for any insight you can share...

Those damn lymph nodes. I’ve got them too, and I actually scheduled surgery to get them out because they’re driving me absolutely insane. It’s unpredictable—sometimes they just sit there quietly, but other times they flare up and irritate the surrounding muscle, which turns into this incredibly nasty, dull, throbbing ache.

Myalgia feels like hell. 🙂 If it doesn't hurt, it isn't even close.
