Honestly, I was pretty blown away by them. They sound incredible live, the singer brings this sort of positive vibe to the stage, and the music just kind of makes you want to move, I guess.

Same here. But then, feeling fine the next day, I headed down to Cleveland and caught a set at a local spot where they were playing some super smooth vibes.😉

Oh, and in one track (can't recall which one), they sampled a bit of "Armagideon time" by The Clash. It blew my mind. I was happy as a Teletubbies in that moment.

They were out in Miami this past Saturday... I actually made it to the show... but unfortunately... I can't remember a single thing about it 😁

In my book, Darkwood Dub is easily the best band from that era..
They're seriously great. You can listen to their music for hours, days...

I wouldn't go so far as to call Eyesburn a low-quality band... they have this specific vibe with that mix of reggae and hardcore that you just don't see much around the States, and frankly, there aren't even many bands globally with that exact expression... I mean, sure, you've got Dub War or Insolence, but it's still not the same thing... to me, Eyesburn sounds original, and that's why I enjoy listening to them...

And Kanda Kodžo and Nebojsha are easily one of my top four favorite bands ever... because just like you said above... I connected with every single lyric they wrote... I'd take a line and map it onto a situation from my own life... I even dig their newer albums since they reunited... Prekidi stvarnosti is perfect... even though they've completely shifted their sound... I can still feel it's the same band that used to play S. A. T. or Bic dobro or Proći će i njihovo....

As for Darkwood Dub... those guys make good music... sometimes certain tracks just totally chill me out... even if I wouldn't call myself a huge fan...

They’re my absolute favorites—I might even go as far as saying they're the best thing I listen to, period. They just have everything I'm looking for... enough electronic elements mixed with enough rock, so they work whether I want to just sit back and chill or if I actually want to move a little. My favorite album has to be Life Starts at 30.
