Basically, I’m struggling with a sleep disorder—it's impossible to maintain a steady rhythm because my work schedule involves constant shifts. From what I've gathered online, Modafinil (brands like Provigil or Modalert) is quite effective for managing these issues. For more specifics: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Modafinil

In America, you can't just get this easily; it's strictly regulated and typically reserved for hospital settings under specific conditions. I'm wondering if there is any viable way to acquire it. I've noticed plenty of Americans ordering through various online pharmacies, but I'm curious about how Customs handles those shipments. Is importing this even legal?

Give a 5 mg dose of Nomabela a shot; trust me, you won't be tossing and turning anymore.
Actually, Lorsilan might be even better since it's specifically designed for sedation.

Best,
good luck,

Falling asleep isn't actually my issue; the struggle is getting back online once I'm awake... for instance, I’ll frequently wake up feeling fine after about 8 hours of sleep, yet I can't seem to shake the fog for the next 12 hours. I'm just constantly drowsy...

Maybe try heading over to Union Square, there's a pharmacy around there that might be able to order something for you. Anyway, since you're working shifts, what kind of rotation are you running? Have you been dealing with this crap since you first started?

Personally, the night shift is absolutely wrecking me. Not the shift itself, necessarily, but the aftermath. It didn't take long after I started rotating shifts before things started spiraling, and now everything is just getting worse and worse in every possible way.

You should look into visiting a Sleep Disorders Center in a major metro area...
As someone living with narcolepsy, my psychiatrist took the liberty of prescribing me Vigil to take whenever I start feeling completely wiped out. Honestly, it doesn't even do much for me, but still...
