Hey everyone!
I’ve been dealing with a bit of a headache since this afternoon. My monitor screen has started jittering—nothing massive, but it’s noticeable enough that you can see the letters shaking left and right really quickly.

Everything was working perfectly yesterday and even through this morning, but then out of nowhere today, this trembling started.
It isn't happening constantly, either. Sometimes it pops up while I'm just sitting on the desktop, and other times it stays constant while I'm playing a game, yet I don't see any issues at all when I'm browsing on Chrome... I initially thought maybe I messed up my resolution or refresh rate settings, so I went in to check, but everything is set exactly how it was before. I'm using a 19-inch Samsung W1034S, running at my native 1440x900 resolution at 60Hz, just like always. Honestly, I'm stumped.

I already tried swapping out the cables, but that didn't fix a thing. Right now, I'm running an analog connection from the monitor to the GPU. I have a DVI cable lying around somewhere, but I can't track it down at the moment to test it out.

Does anyone have any insight into what might be causing this? Is a component simply dying on me? 🙂

This usually happens when you're dealing with voltage issues—either a faulty cable or some drama with the power supply inside the monitor itself. Just try plugging in a different monitor to see if it behaves.
