Need help with Microsoft Word

So, I was working on some stuff in Microsoft Word and I’m trying to move my text over to another Microsoft Word doc, right? But here’s the kicker—it’s driving me absolutely insane. None of my bolded text or headers are actually sticking! It just dumps everything in as plain, boring, unformatted text. Like, seriously? How am I supposed to fix this mess?
