I've got an HP DM1 3210 US sitting on my desk right now. It's currently running a Ralink RT5390 b/g/n combo card with Bluetooth 3.0. I need to swap this out for something that supports at least Bluetooth 4.0 and includes LE functionality, specifically because I have a new device coming in that relies on Bluetooth 4.2. I know I could just plug in a USB dongle, but honestly, I want to avoid that clutter if possible. I’ve done some digging through local retailers here in the States, but all I can find is one specific Intel MiniPCI variant that seems way too overpriced for what it is.
Are there any other reputable US electronics retailers that actually stock MiniPCI wifi b/g/n + bt 4.0 cards, or am I basically stuck hunting through eBay to find anything decent?
Also, does anyone happen to have the official white-list for network cards compatible with HP laptops, specifically for this particular model?
