Personally, Arcade Fire never really clicked with me. Every single track sounds like one long, drawn-out chorus from start to finish. If they want to sell out, let them. If Kings of Convenience could do it, so can they. But that James Blunt era? That was just daily psychological warfare. 😠 😠

Honestly, it drives me crazy how every single mediocre band and half-baked song eventually finds its way into some random commercial. 🙂

It’s not even that I mind seeing them pop up in commercials or whatever; it’s more that ads have become so incredibly constant and aggressive lately that, honestly, after a while, I can’t even listen to a song used in an ad without it being totally ruined for me. I actually really love Rebellion. If they want to sell out via commercials meant for markets outside of America, then fine by me—I’ll be perfectly happy about it. 😁
