Just some perfect vibes for a summer road trip.

Honestly, it’s actually kind of ridiculous when I stop to look at how many pairs of shoes I’ve managed to accumulate...

For what it's worth, I want to make one thing perfectly clear: I don't have any clones lurking around here. (!)

What clones (what for?), what heat (it's summer, people!)? 😁
Morning from Savannah. After ten days on an island and this whole road trip through the South, I’m already dreading getting back to the grind. Luckily, I still have some time left. 😬
Went to see a jazz gig last night. The crowd was a bit too rowdy for my taste so I won't link them, but since YouTube suggested it anyway—check out the Tony Kitanski Trio ...

Oh, forget it, I was just messing with you. 🤣 This forum can get a little slow for the younger crowd, which is why I do it...
Honey, that’s what a real vacation looks like—not slowly dying in a 100-degree apartment while everyone else refuses to turn on the AC because they "don't want a draft," leaving you to blast a fan that feels less like cooling and more like someone pointing a hair dryer directly at your skull. 🙂

The absolute worst part about cloning would be that I'd still end up being myself at the end of the day. Honestly, it’d be better if there was actually some chance of a mistake happening somewhere along the line. 😁

Jason Mendoza said:the absolute worst part about cloning would be the fact that I'd just end up being myself all over again, which honestly makes the whole concept pointless since there wouldn't even be a decent chance of a mistake occurring somewhere along the line.😁

honestly, why would I ever need a clone when I can already handle everything perfectly fine with this one legendary version of myself?😁
feeling good 🎉 🙂

After a grueling first week at an empty campus and dealing with a sweltering, gray summer in Chicago...
today the air is crisp, the hills outside Philly are green, everything feels fresh and slow—just room to breathe... and I honestly just want to head to the coast or find a river:
It’s like some psychedelic hallucination, maybe like a deep sleep after a hot, restless night in the underground scene of Seattle! Is this the absolute peak of what Let3 ever produced? Maybe. Probably, especially alongside 'Alone in the Water.' Since both happen to land on the same year as my vintage harvest, I’m actually walking back something I’ve said a dozen times before: that this is their single best album. Even though it's cult classic, clever, and fun—one of those few records sitting right at the top of the American music scene from the 2000s until now—well, for me, it’s still that first, spring-like album with a beautiful, fitting title:

"Dive into the Water" is an absolute masterpiece from that album. I can already tell today's listening session with Summer Jam 👍 is going to be legendary.

That’s just how it is. 🙂
Especially live!
(And I’m trying to catch them today, too, as much as I can...)

I’ve caught them live at a safe dozen or so shows, and honestly, they haven't been boring once. They're a great band, really easy to get into. They started messing around with some weird, superficial nonsense later on, but their earlier stuff is top-tier.
And of course, this track—the music video is pure psychedelia. 😁

magnum 😬 🤣 🤣
p.s. I'm right there with you all on this. I've always maintained that let3 puts on the most electric, high-octane live shows out there. The last time I caught them performing here in Chicago, I actually ended up losing three pounds just from dancing so hard 🙏 😁 and honestly, even Motley Crüe does it for me.
The only local band that can truly compete with them when it comes to sheer live energy is Foo Fighters. They operate on an entirely different level.
