Lately, I’ve been listening to a certain singer-songwriter quite often—one of my favorites. There’s just something about his music that feels incredibly grounding. :)

Damien Jurado — Metallic Cloud.

Haha Emoji

When does it actually start feeling soothing?

😛 Nothing came of the situation at the local diner.

Billy Martin featuring Marc Ribot — Home Beat Home. ...

The Lux Law—is anyone actually following the implications here? It’s a mess.

I'm sure it's something. Emoji

This also works perfectly for me :S

I’m with Gironiz on this one. Yeah, he’s been posting on Facebook less lately—or at least it feels that way to me. :/

Good grief—him and that greasy hair of his. How does he manage to make the exact same song sound different every single time?

🤣Here's a little something.

Man, 😁 just pure class. 🤣

Lisa Davis46 said:Unknown, uh, I used to play that album constantly back in high school (and definitely destroyed a few of their CDs in the process). They were brilliant, but it's been ages since I listened... here's something with a similar vibe from a band with a similar title,

Ha, look at that. I was actually wondering if he had any solo work—didn't realize this was his, though I stumbled upon the name somewhere. I have to admit, though, I'm not a fan. :/

Nice little description from Drew Lewis.

Currently sitting at a six. 😁

Yeah, Dead Souls isn't actually that depressing. Maybe I should have... I guess this is it..😁

It’s coming fast... getting closer, just like the album title says.

Is there anything more depressing than self-destruction—especially when someone announces they're doing it right before they actually go through with it? I guess. Maybe. It just feels heavy.
This one has always been my favorite. It really captures how I feel, and honestly, it’s probably the most depressing entry in this whole contest:

The sun's coming up, but I feel like everything's just fading out again. Maybe it's just me.
Maybe I should just double down on this and make it even sharper. Live from Los Angeles.)

Does it get any darker or colder, even with Joy Division?
It’s tough for me. He already knew what he was deciding before he even got here, I guess.

Drew Lewis2 said:Ha, look at that! I was actually wondering if he had any solo stuff out there. I honestly wasn't sure if it was even his work, since I just stumbled across the name somewhere. But I have to admit, I'm really not feeling it. :/

He’s the best one first, I guess. Some guy playing lap steel. These days. 😁

And then there’s everything else... I guess I won't cut it all out entirely, just so I don't completely erase those raw likes I posted. Honestly, I kept them mostly because I’ve liked them for a while now, not really because they represent Hahn's work or anything like that...
Maybe you should try looking into how they actually sound in the studio—like, what specific musical directions they ended up taking.

Astronomy. I guess people think it’s all just staring at pretty pictures from the Hubble or whatever. It isn't. It’s actually kind of heavy when you really get into it. Maybe it's just me, but looking up at the void makes everything feel incredibly small. I don't know. It’s definitely a lot to wrap your head around.

Mr. Limpet.

A solo... maybe.

Solo Etudes I It’s finished—that ambient work. I can't share it here, though.
For the most part, there's also... Solo Etudes III I guess there are maybe around 30 people there.

If you think it’s better, then maybe we should just head back to some Germanic French:
This is it. I guess I'm just here. This is it.If not, at least I'll know I didn't misrepresent him.

It’s great... I really liked the comment too, and now Wyatt is even on IG. 😁

I’ve mostly just listened to some Soft Machine and his killer album 'Rock Bottom,' but that’s about it—I definitely need more. For some reason, he always reminds me of (the lesser-known) Hurley, though they probably don't have anything in common besides being around the same age. One is British Canterbury scene and the other is American and Greenwich Village... but they both have that vibe, in their own way.

Maybe it's a similar feeling:

I absolutely love Wildegeeses 👍... there are some similarities, though I feel like Hurley leans more toward folk or country, while Wyatt is more avant-garde.
I've only really done Rock Bottom (that incredible Sea Song 😍) and the occasional Shleep. It's not exactly my "everyday" listening—lately, I feel like I'm constantly rushing through life, just "skimming" whatever is already in my rotation, so I never think to revisit these little gems.

So, my old man has always been a pretty difficult guy to deal with, and growing up in a house with three women, being the youngest meant I was constantly at odds with him—just picking fights, acting out, and causing trouble. I was a nightmare in school too, getting warnings about expulsion and all that, while my mother spent half her time covering my tracks from everyone else, so honestly, it’s hardly any surprise that I ended up working in education today. 🤦 😁
Anyway, back in seventh grade, I was absolutely obsessed with U2, and one day, out of nowhere, my dad showed up with this VHS of Rattle and Hum he’d borrowed from a coworker, because God knows how he managed to figure out

Even after an exhausting day at the office, I still find myself needing a little physical activity ☕
It’s all about staying in shape, I suppose. Personally, I make it a point to trek up those incredibly steep stairs toward the local high school in the middle of the afternoon heat, even though I could easily just hop on a bus for two stops and call it a day.

The Unholy Alliance show was easily one of the greatest live sets I've ever witnessed. Lombardo is an absolute beast behind the kit; watching him work is something else entirely. Honestly, I’m feeling the itch for another concert lately.
