Oat bread recipes

Anyone know where I can find decent oat bread? Specifically in Washington, D.C.
I've checked a few different grocery stores and they're all out of stock... anyone have any leads?

As far as I know, the only oat bread worth mentioning is what you can grab at Panera Bread... though I wonder if it might be easier to just pick up some oat flour and bake a loaf from scratch (or maybe even just grind down some rolled oats yourself)? I’m really not sure if that’s something you’d actually find the patience or interest to pull off, though...

I’ve thought about it, but honestly, baking my own bread feels like too much hassle and a waste of money. I’d much rather $5.00 just buy some... but everywhere I look, nobody seems to carry it. Not sure if they even make it anymore. I'll keep hunting for that specific bread, though. Thanks.

One more thing—is that oat bread actually made with oats, or is it just an 80:20 ratio? 🙂

Oats just sit right with me better than any other grain. I eat oatmeal constantly and want to switch things up. Since I'm big on different spreads, I've been looking for some oat bread...
In my opinion, oats are the healthiest grain out there. They're practically gluten-free—they have some, sure, but it doesn't hit you the way gluten from other grains does.
