The series is actually quite good, mostly because they managed to make it feel grounded and realistic without leaning too heavily on unnecessary melodrama.

They seemed to push things a bit too hard in those first two episodes, but by the third, everything just fell into place. I think the third episode is the standout, mainly because it hits home; we all have that one relative who acts like Joseph Kennedy, or those old folks who stubbornly refuse to chip in for anything, leaving you to tease them about grabbing a coffee or some snacks. Or maybe it's that one guy you brush off on the street because he seems a bit much, only to have life circle back and make you realize you actually needed him a few months later. We’ve all dealt with our own version of a Sebastian from customer service at some point, too.

Anyway, it was a fantastic episode. 👍

I hope the guys have enough budget to keep the episodes coming. The scripts for those last two were honestly great, along with everything else. I didn't notice any scenes dragging on too long, either. It feels really professionally done, especially with such top-tier material and acting. Expectations are pretty high now, though, and it’s definitely tough to churn out episodes where every single one hits that mark. If they manage to reach the finale, I guess maybe they could just stick to a relaxed pace—just maybe 2 or 3 episodes at most.

Look, they've already spilled a ton of bases here that have probably been circulating in the group for ages, so if they actually try to start cooking up new ones from scratch, they might run into some serious creative blocks.

Just look at what happened to Walter Grant5; while he was busy cycling through those bases from the street corner crew, he ended up getting totally roasted and paying way too much for the laughs.
Those were the good old days. 😢.

It's a decent enough show. It just feels like it's missing those gritty, low-life characters—you know, like that agent in the tracksuit who’s just out there trying to hustle for his 5%.

That was a solid movie about Durant on the new channel.

Nobody's ever gonna tell you that a massive thunderstorm is about to wreck your backyard on a Tuesday and somehow make you actually look forward to the chaos. 😂
