Elizabeth Mendoza said:Why are the shops still running? Because for a regular person, grabbing something to eat is way more important than staring at a crisis and praying to some imaginary figure born from one foolish woman's excuse to her husband, which somehow turned into an entire religion.

Maybe it’s also because you have to sanitize your hands at the entrance of most Walmarts and they only let small groups in, whereas every single Dar, Mary, and Lucy who thinks fighting a virus with garlic and moonshine is a valid strategy would swarm right into a church. You'd end up with a bunch of low-IQ idiots packed into a tight space, creating a total hotspot.

You're kind of assuming you have the right to decide what matters more to other people here.

Maybe it's because most shops make you sanitize your hands at the door and let people in small groups, whereas in a church you'd have every single Dar, Mary, and Lucy charging in there trying to fight the virus with nothing but garlic and moonshine, which would just turn a cramped church into a massive cluster of low-IQ idiots and a total outbreak zone.

Man, you are just loaded with biases, like even an empty church on Easter didn't manage to make you pause and question your own prejudices for a second.

One thing is for sure, those "journalists" all swarmed that one specific church just because they figured it was their best shot at catching some juicy scandal.
In a country with thousands of churches and hundreds of thousands of Catholics, they managed to get nothing out of the second biggest holiday of the year besides two rejected cell phone photos.

Your arguments are straight-up garbage—just pure hate and mockery at this point. Look, you obviously can't host a massive party on a 5,000-square-foot floor plan where you've got 15 people wandering around, sitting, and standing everywhere. Only someone with zero common sense would think that works—but hey, I guess you’re clearly bursting with all that "genius" energy, right? Just constant insults and ridicule... honestly, this kind of trash shouldn't even be allowed on the platform. But sure, go ahead, call it "freedom of speech" if it makes you feel better.

Just try editing some guy's photo and you'll see what happens soon enough.

Elizabeth Mendoza said:So why doesn't the rulebook apply to them?

Actually, the rules *do* apply to them—that’s exactly why they went through the trouble of asking for permission in the first place. And, well, they got it. This whole procession has been going on for five centuries now, and it’s actually on the UNESCO list for intangible heritage. I'm guessing that's the main reason their request was greenlit. 😉

Look, the rules *did* work for the idiots—because let’s be real, you've got hundreds, maybe even thousands of low-IQ morons drifting through that parade they've been running for centuries anyway.

Those "zealots" are actually one of the most persecuted and targeted religious groups on the planet.😉

Oh, I see. So because something has been happening for 500 years and involves religion, they just get to bypass the laws that everyone else in the country has to follow?

I mean, every single small town in America has some ancient tradition or religious parade. If we follow that logic, anyone could walk up today and ask why *their* specific group got a special pass while everyone else stays stuck with the standard rules.

Maybe it’s just because they were actually asking for it, you know? I mean, do you have any actual data on how many of those requests got shut down, because if we’re going to sit here and have a real conversation about privilege, we should probably look at the numbers first.

Can we actually expect any condemnation of this journalistic trash from some human rights organization?
And should we really expect decent people to just stand there if some random stranger starts filming them without warning
instead of snatching that phone right out of their hands and tossing it onto the floor...

The odds of a virus spreading because hospitals and nursing homes don't have basic gear—masks, gloves, you name it (and trust me, we saw how much of a disaster that was in those facilities)—are a thousand times higher than some priest and a handful of people holding mass. Clowns should be tackling the actual problems instead of this nonsense; a little less being stuck in the past wouldn't hurt.

Are you seriously trying to wish death upon me with that bolded comment?

She was just doing her job—just because people hate the outcome doesn't mean she did anything wrong.

I think any sane person should back investigative reporting on the elite—it's pretty much the only way things get better in this country. Full support for the reporter.👍

It’s honestly impressive how you can't actually hold a conversation without immediately resorting to cheap insults... and then you have the nerve to call someone else names right after. 🙏

wish you were dead 🤣🙏

Look, man, when you're dealing with this kind of stuff, that whole priest thing is just totally trivial. ☕

Elaborate on what you mean by saying I'll "see the imaginary soon," then.

You got all worked up about being insulted, so why are you coming at me now? Why aren't you taking the high road?🤷

The woman intentionally provoked the situation—she got exactly what she wanted: a viral story and a spike in clicks—all while playing the innocent victim... but anyone who actually witnessed the reality of what happened will likely react much more aggressively next time someone tries to film them without asking.

Anthony Jackson2 said:So what exactly is the plan here—everyone just hides in their holes like bugs and waits for their own bacteria to finish them off? We’re living in a country that doesn't have a single long-term strategy beyond next month, banking entirely on the hope that this thing just vanishes into thin air...

Seriously, you tell me: what does the government actually do if this isn't just some seasonal thing that disappears by mid-February? How do they plan to fund 15 million people for an entire year?

Honestly, I’m going to start deleting these kinds of brainless posts on Reddit—I know human stupidity is infinite, but my patience for dealing with it definitely isn't.

Anthony Jackson2 last week ☕

What to be Titus should people do now? Hide in holes like bugs and skip Misa? ☕

So, does that make you some kind of hardcore Catholic?
